Roman
I walked in the living room, immediately seeing Patton and Logan.
"ROMAN!" Patton sprung to his feet and jumped in my arms. "Oh goodness are you okay?!" I raised up the letter in my hand.
"No, I don't think I am." Patton led me to the couch and sat me down.
"I'm going to get you some tea, then we'll talk about all of that if it's okay." Logan saidSome minutes later, I already finished my tea and I wasn't feeling any better.
"So how do you feel?" Patton asked.
"I feel... Weird ? Look, this morning I woke up and it felt like Virgil was here." Logan stiffened up at my words.
"And could you describe that further by any chance?"
"Uhm... I could sense his prescense here, but he wasn't quite here you know? It was as if I could tell what he was thinking about and other stuff like that. Like we were linked together. Sorry, I must sound crazy right now." Logan shook his head and a smirk crept on his face.
"You're not. Now I'm going to ask you something to check if my theory is correct. Close your eyes." He demanded. I reluctantly did so.
"Great, now, think of Virgil until you can see him."
"Until I can what?!" I reopened my eyes only for Logan to close them again.
"Roman, if my theory is correct, it means we'll be able to get Virgil back. Please, do as I say." I sighed and started to concentrate. After a moment, I saw him. Virgil was on a bed looking at a painting in his hands. I could feel a sentiment of nostalgia and sadness from him. Just the sight of him was enough to have startled and distracted me. I was back in my living room on the couch.
"I saw him. What was that?!" Patton spoke up first, a huge grin on his face.
"Virgil imprinted on you! It's a bound made by a love between a vampire and a human. This bound is so strong no walls or distance can break it. Only death or rebirth can." He explained. Logan nodded.
"Humans and Vampires were never meant to be together in society's eyes, yet some had a love so strong this bound was made. There are 3 ways for you to get rid of it. Either you let yourself die of old age, Virgil gets staked or... He turns you. This is what Patton meant by rebirth." I was shocked. A million questions ran through my head.
"How is that going to work in our favor though?"
"Alicia has no power against a bound so strong. Let's work up a plan to get him back!" Patton said, leaving to get a piece of paper and a pen.Virgil
Today was really tiring so I had no problem falling asleep. I knew I was dreaming when I felt sun on my skin. I often dreamed of being able to walk under the sunlight so this wasn't new. It looked like the sun was setting, leaving an amber tone on the grass and the lake in front of me. I was at a park.
"Beautiful isn't it?" I whirled around at the sound of a familiar voice. Standing in front of me was Roman. I sighed and smiled sadly.
"Yeah, it is." I said, not tearing my gaze away from him. He smiled before running a hand through his hair.
"I'm not mad at you mi amor. Well, I am actually, but just because you thought I would seriously sit back and let you leave." I finally looked away, ashamed.
"Well maybe I don't want you to. Eh, what am I expecting? You to break in the manor and take me away?" I admitted. He chuckled.
"Well Patton and I thought about that but Logan said we needed to stop being hopeless romantics and get our shit together. He also said Alicia might have done... Something... " He looked down at my hand. I was wearing the engagement ring he wanted to give me and... A second one. "When are you getting married?" I sighed and crossed my arms.
"In 2 months from today." He got closer to me and cupped my face making me look directly at him.
"I promise you, I won't let it happen. We'll get you back Virge, no matter what." I buried my face in his neck, and wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Now I'm wishing this dream is real." I said. He pulled me away.
"Virgil, do you remember last time you fed off of me?" A blush crept on my face and I nodded.
"Uhm yeah? What about it?" he brushed my hair out of my face and smiled.
"You imprinted on me that night Vi. I'm always going to be with you. If you want proof that all of this is real, go talk to Quinn when you wake up okay?" I nodded, secretly hoping I would wake up and Quinn would tell me all of it was real and Roman and I are actually bound.
"Roman?" He gave a hmm? In response. I leaned in and pressed our lips together. He kissed back immediately, threading his fingers in my hair. We finally pulled away yet I didn't move.
"I love you." I felt him smile at my words.
"I love you too cariño mío." I closed my eyes, enjoying this dream. When I opened them again, I was in my bed. The clock next to me read 6 am. I sighed and headed downstairs.Quinn was already in the kitchen, making cereal. They saw me and smirked.
"So what did Roman tell you?" They asked. My heart dropped.
"It was real?! He really was in my dream?! I actually imprinted on him?!" They nodded, now heading to a couch in the living room.
"Yup, I don't want to ruin the surprise by telling you the plan me and your friends came up but let's just say you won't be wed to Eleanor." At that, I finally felt hopeful.
