Virgil was over at Roman's house who was full on interrogating him.
"Are you anywhere near done Princey?"
"Nope! Uh, how old are you?" Virgil got surprised at the question. He looked like he was actually thinking about it.
"You don't know?!"
"When you've been alive as long as I was, well yeah, you start to not care so much about something as irrelevant as a birthday." Logan nodded.
"Even if I agree with you on the irrelevant part, I must remind you that you're turning 275 this Friday and I'm turning 280 next month. Which means you might have some visit by the end of the week." Roman's eyes went wide
"275?! Oh my goodness that is so cool!" Virgil scratched the back of his neck.
"I guess?"
"You guess being old enough to have experienced wars, thousands of new inventions and seeing the world change cool?"
"When you put it that way..." He gave a chuckle at Princey's excitement. Even Logan seemed to be enjoying himself.

Some time has passed and Virgil was demonstrating what happened when a vampire met the sunlight. Roman gasped when after one minute, the younger vampire pulled out his arm that was badly sunburnt. Logan scolded him as he applied some weird looking sunscreen on his friend's arm.

Apparently, people back then used to throw people they suspected to be vampires in broad daylight, which would cause their fangs and red eyes to come out. Exactly like right now. Roman couldn't deny Virgil looked scary like that but it still gave him a feeling of comfort somehow. Everyone turned around when the door swung open.
"Oi Roman- Oh!" Remus, Roman's twin, barged in and froze at the sight of Virgil and Logan.
"Remus! I uh... I can explain!... Actually I can't..." Roman tried. Remus' shocked face suddenly turned into a wicked grin.
"No way! You're friends with Vampires too?!"
"Wait what do you mean too?" Virgil asked looking at Remus up and down. He smiled again and called out behind him.
"Hey, Jan! Check this out!" A man marched up the stairs and stood beside Remus. Virgil Logan and him all looked at each other in disbelief. The stranger was the first one to speak up.
"It's been a while brother."

The stranger was apparently Virgil's brother, Janus. The florist was glaring at his brother with a rage Roman has never seen before. Logan decided to break the awkward silence.
"What are you two doing together?" Remus re-entered the room with a backpack.
"Getting some stuff ready, Jan is going to be staying at my house for a few days."
Virgil stood up and stomped away. Roman started to run after him but was stopped by Logan.
"Please don't. Even I don't know about that so it's better if we both stay out of Virgil's family business." Roman reluctantly sat down and watched as Remus packed stuff for Janus to use. Right then Patton, Roman's roommate walked in.
"Hey Rom- Oh!" He and Logan shared a shocked expression upon seeing the other.
"You !" Patton said grinning and giggling as he got closer.
"Oh my, it's so nice to see you again isn't it?" He excitedly babbled. Logan was red in the face and smiling dumbly.
"Uh, y-yeah! I didn't get your name last time though."
"Ah I'm Patton ! Nice to see you again Logan" Patton looked at Roman
"Didn't know you were friends with him Ro! That's nice"
"Yeah, and how did you guys meet?"
"We met while I was on a trip in London 1876." Logan responded, pushing his glasses up higher on his nose.
"L-Logan, he !-"
"He knows, don't worry."
"Wait, Pat you're a vampire too?!" Roman was completely shocked. Patton nodded sheepishly.
"Well, as nice as this was, I need to go get my friend before something bad happens. Goodbye!" And like that Logan left.
"We better get going too. I grabbed all the stuff we need Jan. See ya bro!" Remus and Janus hurried outside, leaving Patton and Roman alone.
