THIRD PERSON Era 980
THE WIND flowing behind him became a guide for him on the way to the place that resonates with familiarity. It somehow offers him a comforting sense of ease.
It's not a mere place anymore.
How long has it been? Six whole months since he last visited this place. Albeit there haven't been any noteworthy changes here in their locale, but he can feel the shifting season. With leaves gently falling all around the town, he knew, fall had finally arrived.
"Kaya mo na ba?"
He nodded at the coachman.
Kada buwan man ang pagbisita niya rito noon, dahil sa haba ng panahon ay nakabisado na niya ang mga pasikot-sikot sa bayan ng Glaiden. Kahit lumipas na ang ilang buwan simula noong huling punta niya rito, the information in his memory will remain black and white.
"Magpapakita ka pa ba sa kaniya?"
He shortly glanced at him. "No."
Albeit he still visits the place, it has been about two years since he last stood face to face with her.
He's avoiding any communication with her as much as possible, and he plans to head back to Arozel soon after briefly checking on her condition.
Following his brother's words, he chose to distance himself from her. Kahit na mahirap iyon para sa kaniya. He has to do it.
"What do you think she's planning?" His elder brother asked him.
Umangat ang tingin niya sa nakatatandang kapatid, kasama ang ilang miyembro ng S-Classna nakaupo sa harap ng iisanglamesa na yari sa mamahalingmateryal na kahoy. They were both in their sixth phase, but there was nearly a three-year age gap between them.
The walls were adorned with paintings of previous high-ranking scholars of the Arozel institution, gilded furniture, long curtains of deep prussian-blue silk covering the tall windows, a wide conference table carved from dark mahogany, a delicately woven blue carpet, and wide couches around the room. The S-Class' private chamber is elegant enough to be called a royal's chamber.
He stayed sitting on the couch. "I don't know." Saad nito kahit na may ideya siya sa mga aksyon ng nakatataas.
Maybe staying silent would be more beneficial for him. Alam niyang hindi iyon ang dapat niyang gawin ngayon, he should be more open with them than taking the side of the headmistress. But lately, he found himself conflicted with such things.
