It's only a matter of time before humanity ceases to exist.

SASKIA'S POV
HOW MANY YEARS, decades, and centuries has it been since they perished from the eyes of mortals? Was it really just a tale, a long-forgotten narrative in the medium of voices, or is it the truth hidden beneath the guise of legends?
An ease to the minds of humankind that they are still here, watching over us and keeping us safe in their cradling presence?
The world keeps rotating, the sun keeps shining, as if nothing ever happens. But that wasn't long enough humans began to notice their lost prints in Armistden, forming this certain perpetual tale that has long been running in our world.
That they are no longer here.
Many people still hold their belief tightly in their hearts that they are somehow keeping an eye on us, holding those tiny hopes in their loosen grips.
And now, how could we believe that we are seeing one of the Bearer's disciples in front of us, standing. Alive and real. Ang dating yari sa bato na statue na aming nasaksihan sa loob ng lugar na 'to ay nasa harap na namin ngayon. May buhay.
Eyes fixed in shock, Saphire slightly tilted her head in bafflement. "E-Euryphaessa? Totoo ba talaga ito? I-Ibig sabihin ay hindi po kayo nahiwalay sa mga mortal?"
I still remember how Saphire used to emphasize the tale about her to me in the old days. It is kind of ironic to think about those times na pawang salin-wika lamang ang mga iyon noon.
Everyone's past hearsay aged well, didn't it?
"Am I dreaming?" Amy reached up to give a slight pull on the strands of her short, light beige hair, brows furrowing as she felt the sensation from it. Her eyes fluttered upward in confusion. "I think namamalikmata lang tayo."
Symone even knuckled his eyes to give a confirmation. "Hindi, eh. Totoo nga."
"Are you really . . ." Allisa raises her hand, points her index finger, but wavers halfway. She was left staring with only the wonder flooding her eyes.
The lady didn't flinch. Her eyes remained fixed, seemingly bearing a sense of solace, yet it gave us the impression that something unknown was pulling us in it instead, doing tricks on our perception.
It was overwhelming. This sight before us held a weight too sacred to disturb. As if it's not meant for us to see this physically. This sensation, it's real. Something disorienting is trying to occupy my mind.
