Naruto pov

We are standing in front of Kakashi-sensei waiting for him to say what we're supposed to do. I'm still thinking about how to convince him not to tell the hokage.  If he does then I'll probably be the one that ends up in prison or exiled out of the village.

'Lord 3rd' still thinks that I'm a threat to the village and this will probably be the reason he finally gets to chain me up. He says that the council is the people that make him make decisions but I overhead him one day when I was younger talking to the council.

I was around five when the villagers started to hit me and when I told Hiruzen he said he'll fix it and have Anbu protect me. I went home until I remembered that rent was due and I didn't have any money. I went back to his office and before I went in I heard him say my name so I eavesdrop.

"Yes Naruto is being hurt by the villagers, we need to make sure that he doesn't lose control of the kyuubi. So I will assign some anbu to take care of him. This is not up for discussion. I can't have him destroying my village."

I felt like crying that day. Kurama isn't bad at all it wasn't even his fault that the village was destroyed.  And I thought Hiruzen actually was my family, I use to call him Jiji ( sorry if I spelled it wrong 😅)

Kit calm down

I look at Kakashi-sensei and Kurama is right.

"Are you alright Naruto?" Kakashi said with a tilt of his head. I just nodded my head. He didn't look convinced at all but continued to what he was saying.

Kakashi cleared his throat, and said in a serious manner, "Yesterday I said that I was gonna test you to see if you can be apart of my team. If you all pass this test then you'll be put into harsh training. I will not go easy on you, if you want to be apart of my team then you have to be the best. You will be ask to die for your village. I don't except anything less. If you don't want this then say something now." I noticed how he said 'your village' instead of 'our village'. He must not like the village, that's interesting.

Sasuke and I didn't say anything, Sakura looked at Sasuke first then stood a little taller. We all knew what it means to be a shinobi in these times. Sacrifice, death, fighting, and most of all betrayal. When he saw that we weren't going to say anything he continued.

He is wearing a mask but but we could all tell he was smirking, "Well like I said you all need to be strong and smart. So for my test you will have to fight me and if one of you can beat me you'll have to chose who will go back to the academy."

Sakura started to say something to him, trying not to make him upset by yelling, Sasuke and I was just thinking about what he said. He said it like that was all we had to do. But then again it sounded like he wanted something more from us.

If that makes any sense.

I looked at Sasuke. He seemed like he was thinking the same thing I was. I nudge him with my shoulder and give him a nod, as a sign that we will talk later, we always understand each other's body language even thought we aren't close.

"You have four hours and your time starts now." Kakashi-sensei said, cutting Sakura off mid sentence, and taking out his book.

Me and Sasuke were heading to the trees together while Sakura hid in the bushes. "Teamwork." was all Sasuke said. That actually made sense now thathe said it. Wow, I was never going to get that and he got that less than 10 minutes.
