We Need Each Other

The Truth pt.1

As long chapter to make up for the long absence.

After they left Naruto and Jiraiya's hotel they set off for the village. Naruto and Sasuke walking side by side behind Kakashi and Itachi, Sasuke said it was because he could have his eyes on his older brother. Itachi just nodded and started walking like he was told an order, then Kakashi protectively walked besides him. "A watch dog" Naruto called him, to which Sasuke couldn't argue with.

Who do he thinks he is?  Sasuke thought bitterly, Itachi's doesn't need to be protected, he's stronger than you, there's no reason for you to be so close to him.

Was he jealous? Maybe. But that had nothing to do with the fact that Kakashi has a crush on his big brother. Or the fact that Kakashi just put his hand on his brother's back to move him to the right side of the dirt path.

Absolutely not.

It was just that Itachi was his older brother not Kakashi's boyfriend- over his dead fucking body was somebody like Kakashi is good enough to be Itachi's boyfriend.

Naruto must could tell he was jealous because he took his hand and rubbed the back of it. And hey, he was all down for that but-

There's a time and a place for everything, does Naruto really think that taking his S-rank criminal brother to get interrogated for killing his clan the time to start showing him affection.

Well he guessed so, by the way Naruto took two steps towards him.

The way back seemed longer than the way there, and sunset was approaching quickly. Kakashi suggested they rest in a small town by the village, most shinobi sleep in the towns' hotel when there too tired to make it to the leaf or they need a doctor to quickly patch them up.

"It'll be best for you to use a henge, Itachi. You're on many people's hit list." Sasuke said while they were nearing the small but busy town.

A poof was heard than in place of Itachi there was a short man with long brown hair, brown eyes, and normal civilian clothes.

"Let's just hope we don't run into another shinobi and they see through the henge." Naruto said while scratching the back of his head. "We wouldn't want to start trouble."

"If they do, though, I'll just put them in a genjutsu." Itachi said with a shrug.

They made it to the hotel with no problems, well besides prostitutes trying to empty their pockets.

When they made it to the front desk the person behind it clapped her hands before saying an welcome " Kakashi, my baby, your finally back, how long has it been? A month, two?"

Kakashi now rubbed the back of his head, but the gesture seemed awkward and uncomfortable. If he did know this lady, he either doesn't like her or he's just that uncomfortable around her.

"Umm we just need two rooms for the night." He said while handing her the cash. It got him a look from Sasuke, because of course. Why would he want him to sleep in the same room as his brother? Meanwhile Naruto was thanking all gods that he got to spend a night in the same room as Sasuke, and hoping that they only had rooms with one bed available.

"Oh is that right?" The woman said "I'm surprised no woman is hanging off of your arm-"

"Why would there be a woman hanging off of your arm, Kakashi-san?" Itachi asked, sweetly. Sweat was forming on Kakashi's forehead as all three ninja looked at him. Itachi raised an eyebrow at Kakashi's silence,waiting for an answer, but Naruto and Sasuke could tell he just wanted him to play with him a little. So they decided to play along, too.
