Naruto pov - his 9th birthday

I close the door after Shika and Ino leave to go back home. Today was a good day. Nobody hit me and after school Shika and Ino came to my house. Shika's mom even baked me a cake and Ino's mom brought me flowers. We played alllll day and it's probably one of the best days of my life!

The sun is going down so I should go bathe.  I go into my room to get my clothes. I just get some clean underwear because most of my clothes are too small. But it's alright because that means I'm growing and  becoming a big boy.

I go into my bathroom and run my water. I mostly run hot, even though I will have to take cold baths for week, but it's worth it. It is my birthday after all. I also put in some bubble bath that Ino got me.

After I'm done with my bath I put on my underwear and head out the bathroom. But as I'm passing the mirror I see the scars that is on on my body. I hurry out and shake my head. Today is a good day I won't let my thoughts ruin it. I get to my bed and jump on it. Even though Shika said I shouldn't do it, I'm just so happy. I jump until I see that the sun is down and the moon is waving at me. I lay down and close my eyes with a smile.

Before he could respond I was sleep.

I wake up to a hand covering my mouth. I look up to see a man but I couldn't really see his face, it's so dark. I start to try to move out of his hold, thrashing around. I end up on the floor and I try run away but he's quicker and stronger. He grabs me again, picks me up and throws me on my bed. I try to run again but he pins me down. I feel Kurama try to talk to me but I'm so scared I don't open the link.
