Naruto woke up to the bright sun in his eyes. It took him a moment to realize where he was and who was on him, but when he did he smiled.

He could stay like this forever, Sasuke in his arms, nobody to bother them, no worries in the world. Only him and Sasuke.

He was brought out of his thoughts when he sensed someone by the bushes. His first thought was to throw a kunai at them, but decided not to after he felt the stranger had no intention to harm them.

He looked down at Sasuke's sleeping face an decided that he looked to peaceful and beautiful to wake him up just yet. So he carefully moved out of Sasuke's warm and cozy embrace to check out who was by the bushes, even if he didn't want to.

He took out a kunai, even if he didn't feel the stranger had any ill or harmful aura he still was going to be on the safe side. He knew what shinobi were capable of doing, and this person chakra was big. Not as big as his or Sasuke's but still big enough to be cautious.

Naruto carefully approached the person that looked oddly like a girl, but he could tell it was a boy just.. a very feminine one.

The stranger was, what looked like to Naruto, picking out some healing herbs. Naruto then realized that this stranger was the same 'hunter nin' that picked up Zabuza's body. What he didn't get was why didn't he feel any ill aura around him if he was partnering with a criminal?

Said boy looked up at Naruto, tilted his head, gave a friendly smile and said a soft "Hey."

Naruto then put his kunai away because he  honestly didn't think the boy would hurt him. Naruto then got closer to the boy and sat across from him. "Hi. My name Naruto Uzumaki and I'm a leaf ninja but I guess you can guess that by my headband, huh? What's your name?" Naruto said with a wave.

"My name is Haku. Nice to meet you Naruto" Haku said with his usual soft voice.

Naruto sat in front of Haku, watching as he was looking for some healing herb, that Naruto figured was for Zabuza. They must mean a lot to each other, Naruto thought.

Naruto looked back at Sasuke sleeping figure. He looked so beautiful and peaceful when he was sleep, like all his worries were gone. The sunlight was only adding to his beauty. He looked like a angel. Naruto could stare at him forever and never get bored.

I wish I could call him mine-

Before he could even question his thoughts Haku asked him," Why do you do this?" He said it with genuine curiosity.

The question caught him off guard so all he could say was, "Huh?"

Haku fixed himself so now he was sitting right across of Naruto and he was able to look right in his clear ocean blue eyes.

"I mean why are you a ninja? Why do you risk your life for your village? You could die any moment or no even that, the things you see in the ninja world is so, so traumatic. So I'm asking you, Naruto Uzumaki, why are you a ninja." Haku rephrased. His eyes still holding curiosity and now a little bit of judgment, but Naruto couldn't see since he put his head down slightly.

It was silent for a few moments before Haku heard a big, joyous laugh. He was confused for a second before he looked back up at Naruto.

Naruto's head was thrown back, his hair now out of his face, his shoulders shaking slightly because of his laughter. His face seemed like it was glowing due to the sun ray's and he had tears in the corner of his eyes. He looked so.. beautiful, like a God.

So it was really no surprise when Haku blushed at the sight before him.

"What's so funny?" Haku said, now feeling a little insecure about the question he asked.
