We Need Each Other

Naruto pov

I look at Sasuke again for, I guess, a second too long before he looks back at me. He raises an eyebrow, as if to ask what did I want.

I shake my head and raise my hand that had the document in. Anko gave this to us after explaining her part of the Chunin Exams. Apparently, if we sign this it'll be our own fault if we die, or in her words, 'it won't be mine'. 

I kinda like her, she just have that badass aura, like Kakashi-sensei

He's just more of a chill badass

"Did you finish reading it? I don't wanna sign something that has hidden things in there." I say, it's the quickest thing I could come up with.

"Yah, it's just us basically signing our life away." He looks at Sakura to see if she saw anything wrong with it, but she shakes her head. Sasuke then looks back at me and has a sly smirk as he says, " Sounds like a good deal, don't you think?"

Pause

Like actually pause

Because that was very attractive and made my brain shutdown,  just a little bit

It must look like it to, because Sakura is just snickering her little ass off, looking between a confused Sasuke and a flustered me.

I just nod and sign the paper before turning around and heading straight towards Shika and Ino.

They don't even say anything as I pull them away from everyone else, but I do receive an confused stare from their teammate, Choji.

"You know we have to be at the gates in 5 min-" Ino starts saying but I cut her off.

"I'm gay." They just look at me before Ino gives me a look and place a hand on my shoulder with a sigh.

"You're not gay-"

"But-

"Hey I'm not done talking, jeez. You're bisexual, meaning you're attracted to more than one gender." She said, and that would've been alright if it wasn't as if she was telling me that the tooth fairy wasn't real. Shika is just as bad as Ino with them condescending eyes.

I huff as I suck my teeth. On one hand it's like how are they going to tell me what I am, like I'm stupid or something.

But on the other it does make sense because I was always attracted to people in general, I didn't really consider the gender.

How did they know my sexuality before I did or at least why didn't they tell me.

I was having a whole gay panic three minutes ago when I realized that my first crush is a boy.

"So who do you like?" Ino asked after a minute of me just thinking passed. Before I could answer though Shika said, "It has to be Sasuke. I swear he was staring at him for more then two minutes at a time. And I don't even think Sasuke notices."

I do not stare at Sasuke for that long.

Ino jumps a little bit and Shika smile at her enthusiasm.

"What are you guys so excited for?" I said confused.

"Well you never really show any romantic feelings for someone. I mean of course you say if you think a person is attractive but you're never actually attracted to them." Shika says. "Anyway we need to go to the gates the next phase is about to start. Just remember that we're not pressuring you or anything but you should go for it. Us ninja don't have long lives, so you don't want to have any regrets in your life. And out of everyone in this village, you deserve happiness the most, Naruto." Shika says.
