I sent two chats to Elissa dahil nakikita ko naman na 'active now' siya. It's actually 2 AM at kanina pa ako pabiling-biling sa kwarto ko dahil hindi ako makatulog.

I didn't have to wait long for dahil mabilis niyang sineen ang chats ko and shortly after that ellipses appeared in our conversation.

Elissa Ignacio:

I was about to. Why?

How can you tell if someone's into you?

I chewed my bottom lip after hitting the send button. Sineen kaagad ni Elissa iyon pero hindi kaagad lumitaw ang ellipses so I tried pressing the bubble to remove the message pero too late dahil nag pop up na ang reply niya.

Elissa Ignacio:

The fuck, girl? It's 2 in the morning! Hahaha!

Elissa Ignacio:

But okay... malalaman mo naman sa sarili mo 'yon e. Pero still you can't just rely alone with the actions that he's showing you kasi it's not one hundred percent sure.

Elissa Ignacio:

I mean, malay mo he's just nice lang talaga. Or malay mo he treats everybody like that kaya doon pa rin tayo sa sinasabi talaga directly. Why'd you ask ba?

Sunod-sunod ang naging reply sa akin ni Elissa and my eyes are just fixed at our conversation the whole time. Tangina! Ang confusing din ng mga isinagot niya sa akin, e.

I let out a deep sigh before typing a reply.

To: Elissa Ignacio

Nothing. Just curious.

To: Elissa Ignacio

Pero what do you do when it's confirmed that a guy is into you nga?

Elissa Ignacio:

I lose interest and dump them.

Elissa Ignacio:

Tsaka kung magkakainteres man ako wala rin naman. Beau will just find a way to lowkey scare the guy away.

Elissa Ignacio:

Ang OA lang ng kapatid ko na 'yon. He says that I'm still his baby kaya hindi pa pwede. Like, I'm a grown ass woman! Hello!?

The middle part of Elissa's last chat is what caught me. I'm still his baby. Ganyan din ang sinabi sa akin ni Beau the last time that I was with him in his condo. He said that I can't kiss another guy because I'm still a baby. I'm still his baby.
