"Loki?" You asked with your hands stretched out in front of you. "Loki? Are you here?" You said again, not being able to find him. You were blind and since Loki was your boyfriend he helped you around most of the time. You had met Loki on Earth, before you were blind and had fallen in love with each other. But then one tragic day you were diagnosed with ocular inflammatory disease, which eventually left you blind. The disease was finally gone after 2 and a half years but the blindness was not. Since then Tony had been working on eye enhancers that should" repair your vision, as doctors had not been able to due to unavailable technology. When you were diagnosed you were with Loki and he has never left you since. Most people acted differently towards you after you became blind, which you didn't like. It was a very hard time for you and people changing their behaviour made you feel like a different person; which you weren't. To begin with Loki had acted a bit differently but now he was used to it and was just like the old Loki. He played tricks on you by jumping out at you and shouting to scare you; but you didn't mind as it meant you were both comfortable enough with each other to do that. You reached a hand up to your ear and pressed the button "Loki? Where are you?" You asked into the ear piece. Loki wore one everyday and if he wasn't going to be able to stay with you all day then someone else wore one as well, just in case you needed their help and they weren't near; you could cope pretty well by yourself though, due to good hearing and knowing your way around the building.

"Argh" Some suddenly shouted from behind you. You yelled, not quite a scream, and stumbled forwards. The person wrapped the arms around your waist to stop you from falling and pulled you against their chest. You recognised the scent of the person immediately "Loki! You scared the life out of me!" He chuckled and let go of you. You put out your hand behind you and turned yourself around using Loki's arm for support. "You needed me?" He asked kindly. You nodded, in what you hoped was his direction and said "Yeah I'm really hungry!" Loki took your hand and led you to the kitchen carefully. Once you arrived he pulled a stool out for you and sat you down at the breakfast bar. "What do you want my fair lady?" He asked in a funny tone. He knew you loved the way he spoke on Asgard so he sometimes over-exaggerated it. "Can I have a sandwich please?" You asked hearing him rattle around in the fridge. "Sure, what do you want in it?" He asked. You thought for a moment, trying to remember what was in there from the last time you were told. "For god's sake! I can't remember what there is!" You said loudly getting frustrated with yourself.

You weren't surprised when you felt Loki standing in front of you with his hands on your knees. "Hey, don't get angry, everything's okay Y/N!" You frowned "No it's not! Everything is not okay! I can't even make a sandwich for myself!" You replied even louder than before. Loki moved his hand to cup your cheek soothingly. He planted a kiss on your forehead and then rested his against yours. "Y/N you are blind. There is no other way of putting it. And yes that means that you can't do things for yourself that you used to be able to do. But that doesn't mean that anybody thinks any less of you! I love you and everyone else loves you... that's what matters." You felt him stroke your cheek and you leaned into his hand "Thank you." You whispered. Then he captured your lips with his.
