Male reader x Clint, Tony, Steve, Bruce, Thor, Loki, and Bucky

Clint
As you walk down down the street holding Clint's hand you notice a guy walking towards you who won't stop staring. You shift a little, feeling uncomfortable, and Clint notices what you're looking at. Instead of pulling away, Clint just holds your hand tighter and won't let go. As the guy walks past the two of you, you hear him mumble something that sounds suspiciously like the f-word. Your heart drops as you suddenly feel self conscious of your relationship with Clint.

"Don't do that" Clint suddenly says, looking at you quite seriously. Your eyes meet his quickly and you sigh "Do what?" you ask.

"Don't let some homophobic arsehole ruin our day, he's just jealous" Clint tries to persuade you to ignore the comment and move on. "What exactly is he jealous of? Being judged every time you try to be with your partner in public? Because that's nothing to be jealous of." You sigh.

"He's definitely jealous he doesn't get to kiss you, and hug you, and play with your hair, and make you tea in the morning. With that much hate in him, I doubt he even has someone who loves him." Clint jokes, making you crack a smile. The pair of you move on, trying to forget everyone around you.

Tony

You knew when you became official with Tony that there would be consequences. He's Tony Stark, the Earth's best defender, everyone wants to know what's going on in his private life. Despite that, your relationship had been kept private up to now and only your close friends and family knew that you were dating him. Neither of you were ashamed to be dating each other, but you knew that if you went public with your relationship you were opening yourself up to a mountain of homophobic abuse, and you weren't sure if either of you were ready for that.

However, pictures of the two of you kissing on a sofa during a small party had been leaked to the press, and the position the pair of you were in definitely couldn't be explained away. "What are we going to do?" You asked Tony, worry etched onto your face. He sighed and stepped closer to you. "We're going to do the only thing we can do, tell the truth". The worry didn't leave your face and Tony raised his hand to gently stroke your cheek. "It'll be okay, I'm not saying there won't be some people who don't like it, because there will be, but fuck them. I don't care about their opinion, especially if it's from some uneducated homophobe." You crack a smile at that and press your lips to his, your hands resting on his waist and his holding your face.

The next day there was a press conference for Tony to directly talk to the press and in true Tony style he opened the conference by saying
"I am Iron Man, and I am dating a man, who just so happens to be the love of my life."

Steve

When Steve came out of the ice he was thrust into a whole new world, with completely different social attitudes. It took a while for him to adjust but it did allow him to explore a part of himself he'd previously kept hidden away. Once he met you he fell in love quicker than he ever thought possible. 2 years later and still in a committed relationship, you were taking him to his first pride parade. You'd told him pretty much everything he should expect to see or be involved in but the both of you had decided to keep it low-key. Steve wanted to attend as Steve not as 'Captain America'.

You'd both got ready together that morning and were meeting up with a bigger group of friends at pride. The pair of you were wearing a few rainbows and bright colours but neither of you had gone ridiculously full on, with Steve feeling a bit nervous about the day ahead of him.

It wasn't until you met up with your friends that anything went wrong. As you moved a bit away from the main parade, Steve noticed a group of protestors, all holding signs consisting of vile words. His heart immediately plummeted and his smile faded away. You obviously noticed Steve's mood change and quickly stepped in front of him, blocking his view of the protestors. "Just ignore them, don't let them get to you." You pleaded him. His eyes focused on yours and you could see the sadness in them. "When I was a kid, those were the beliefs of nearly everyone in society, and when I came out of the ice I was so hopeful there'd be none of them left. Even now though, there's still so many people who hate us for who being who we're naturally meant to be!". You nodded sadly and looked back towards the group of protestors.
