#16 ~ They Meet Your Family | Pt. 1

Steve -
Steve was by far the most nervous you'd ever seen him. The pair of you were going to your parents house for lunch and Steve had offered to make desert. "What if they don't like the desert? What if your mum doesn't like me because I ruined her favourite pudding?!" You rolled your eyes in a p
joking manner and put your hand on his arm. "Steve! They'll love you! You're the perfect guy, honestly you have no reason to be stressed!" This didn't seem to calm him at all. The whole lunch went swimmingly well and both your parents loved him! Your mum liked how well presented and helpful he was and you dad trusted he would look after you and liked how polite and respectful he was.

Bucky -
Obviously you'd warned them previously, but the arm still threw them a bit. Neither of them questioned him about it, which you were happy about, but you knew he still felt very conscious of it. At the end of your meeting your parents agreed that they thought he was nice enough but that he should get a hair cut; it could have been a lot worse.

Natasha -
Natasha took the whole thing in her stride and amazed your parents. They absolutely loved her. From how much her love for you was obvious to her hair cut, they couldn't fault her. You actually found it slightly weird. Natasha tried to hide her happiness about your parents approval but you knew how much it relieved her.

Clint -
Clint. Now he's a special guy. He actually already knew your parents since you'd been friends for years. When you revealed your relationship, your parents were a bit wary. They knew roughly that his line of work was risky and they were worried that one day he might die and you'd be left all alone. They already liked him as a friend but as soon as he became 'the boyfriend' your father became a lot tougher towards him. You found this hilarious as did your mother; but you were glad they accepted the love.

Pietro -
Pietro was a nervous wreck before meeting your parents. All day he'd been flitting about, not really sure what to do with himself. Eventually the dreaded time rolled around and you had to leave for the restaurant. His cocky attitude disappeared and he didn't want to let go of your hand as you entered the restaurant. Thankfully the dinner went by with only one mishap. Pietro went to pick up his drink and his powers accidentally kicked in due to his nerves and he managed to spill it all over himself. Fortunately your parents found it hilarious and couldn't stop laughing, which put both of you at ease.
