Chapter Fifty

"Bakit parati nalang kapag nawawala ako sa tabi mo, may nangyayare sayo?" He asked with a hint of sarcasm. 

"Baket ang dami kong hindi alam?" I uttered. Hindi siya nakapagsalita at dumeretsong humiga sa headboard ng kama ko.

"First, my grandma. Then those laboratories which happened to be controlled by Cross Society with Nena as the head. The next thing I knew, I was involved in some super shenanigan about the first five needed for resurrection. And just recently, a person named Nicholas whom I happen to forget which happens to be Leo? Ugh, I don't know, my head is in shambles what in the actual fuck." I ranted. I somehow tell him my thoughts whenever he's around me. Well, he grew up like my brother siguro kaya nasasabi ko lahat ng hinanakit ko sakanya.

"Don't you think it's fate?" He asked. I looked at him with a furrowed face.

"Fate your face. Anong kinalaman ng tadhana jan. to tell you I might just be some unlucky shit who happened to be caught up in this fucked up situation." Natawa si Nix sa sinabi ko. Totoo naman kasi. Im a nobody. my unluckiness brought me to Nena kaya eto ako ngayon. Hays

"Let me tell you as well, Margo. maghintay ka lang. Lalabas at lalabas ang katotohanan kahit hindi mo pilit hanapin. Then, you'll find your next step to take afterwards." I scoffed at him.

"Tiga bigay kana pala ng advice noh? Para san ba tong lecture na to?"

"Tinutulungan ka na nga eh tinataboy pako. Ewan ko sayo wag kanang kumain." He said mumbling and walking towards the door. Natawa ako. Minsan talaga tampururot ang alaga ko. 

But he's right tho. Sa mga nangyayare ngayon unti unting lumalabas yung mga hindi ko alam tungkol sa buhay ko. I just wish the truth will show itself sooner.

Training week. Hell week. Never a fan of physical combat training but whatever. To be honest I shouldn't have trained since Leo is my partner. And with all that's happened between us? I won't be able to be myself around him and unconsciously putting my guard up. 

But in the end, he hasn't showed up 4 days straight. Yea, it's Thursday. And it does feel lonesome when he isn't around. Para bang those four days without him felt so long. I do, I'm yearning for him. Yet he never showed up ever since I confronted him. This is bad. I'm missing him every fucking day.

I was paired up with Nix and Mihai for the time being dahil wala si Leo. Sure I feel relieved that I don't have to face him, but I'm kinda worried. I don't know.

Matapos ang afternoon class ay dumeretso kami sa table namin sa garden area malapit sa cafeteria. Napag usapan rin namin ng gang na kumain muna dahil hindi na kami nakakapag sama sama dahil busy na ung iba. Past 6 na rin at kaming tatlo lang ni Mihai at Leo ang nakaupo since out ng ibang students ay 6:30.

"San si Leo?" Mihai asks. I shrugged since I don't know either.

"Sus, jowa mo tapos hindi mo alam jusko ka." I shot daggers to her with my eyes as she smiled and made a peace sign with her fingers. Mihai's been eating with us ever since that incident with Mr. Shavy. Unang meet ko rin sakanya nun and she gave me a good impression so she's good to go. Mabait ito at halatang extrovert, Although she speaks loud, she's way too honest and straightforward in a good way. Moreover, She's an angel when she smiles. Plus, may gusto si Nix dito.

"Hindi ko yun jowa. Ni hindi nga nagpapaalam kung nasan siya."

"You're worried." She said smiling from ear to ear. I scoffed.

"Me? Worried? You sure are blind Mihai. Kaya niya sarili niya bat ako mag woworry? Hindi na siya bata. Tsaka d ko naman yun jowa para ilaan oras ko ka iisip kung san na ba siya. San ba kasi yun pumunta ilang araw na siyang nawawala." Dere- deretso kong sabi at nagmumukmok na sa sarili. Shit. Si Mihai nga pala ang kausap ko. Tinignan ko siya na may pag aalanganin at tama nga naman ang hinala ko. Kinikilig ito. Wrong move Margo, wrong move.

"I knew it! You like him!" 

"I dont! What the hell Mihai Shut up. May makaririnig sayo." Sabi ko with a faint voice para walang makarinig.

"Suuus. You do like him." She said again. I closed my eyes and collected myself. 

"Mihai stop, Baka masapak pa kitang babae ka kapag hindi ka pa nagtigil at di makayanan ng patience ko." I blurted out that made her laugh her ass out loud. I was wrong. Mihai is a bitch. She's nothing like an angel. She's outgoing but too outgoing. Masisira lovelife ko sakanya eh jusko.

Sakto namang dumating ang gang at may hawak na silang mga pagkain. 

"What are you guys talking about?" Pierre asked.

"Nothing much-"

"Actually, Dearly beloved Margo has feelings towards one of you." Siniko ko ito since nasa tabi ko lang naman siya at tinignan ito ng masama. Bullshit Mihai.

"Sorry, I'm taken." Sabat agad ni Chase. I gave him a disgusted looked.

"Excuse me? Hindi ako pumapatol sa matandang kulang sa brain cells. No offense Cath." I told him direct to the point and looked at Cath the moment I blurted out the 'No offense.' Natawa sila sa nasabi ko. Duhh, kapal naman ng mukha niya akala niya naman siya yon. 

"Kaya ba hindi ka sumasama sakin dahil may lihim ka palang pagtingin, lil sis?" Napapikit ako ng mata at unti unting tumingin sa may likuran kong umakbay sa akin.

"Good lord River, Isa ka rin noh." I said rolling my eyes at him.

"Jusko baka naman ako pala trip mo?" Sabi ni Apollo na umupo sa tabi ni Athena.

"di tayo talo par." I replied. Jusko ano bang meron at napunta sa ganito ung usapan. Nagsimula na kaming kumain nang nag announce ang speaker ng Academy.

"Attention, students. Attention. Calling all students to proceed to their respective dormitories now. I repeat, calling all students to proceed to their respective dormitories. Now."
