The sky was the color of smoke. The sound of the train was calm but noticeable. The platform- 9 3/4 was awaiting the student's arrival. Belinda's old scuffed-up luggage was trailing behind her. The rubber from the wheels was scratched causing the luggage to make an odd squeaking noise. She walked towards the train and bumped into a boy with long white hair, down to his shoulders. She slipped on the trash behind her and fell on her back. The boy turned around and looked down at her.

"You alright?" asked the boy. He held out a hand to lift her.

"Never better," Belinda said slightly chuckling as she pulled herself up, rejecting the boy's hand.

"Are you new this year?" he asked putting his hand to his side, awkwardly.

"I would've remembered a pretty face," The boy asked with a smirk plastered on his face.

Belinda rolled her eyes.

"And I am leaving," Belinda said as she walked away with a sarcastic smile.

The boy laughed as he watched Belinda walk away.

"Abraxas!" The boy yelled.

Belinda's annoyed face fused into a smile as she turned around to face him.

"My name! It's Abraxas!" He yelled once more.

Belinda walked up to him and took his hand.

"Belinda," she said with a nice and proper handshake.

"I shall see you in the near future," Abraxas said cheesily.

Belinda scoffed and waved him goodbye. She sat in a small compartment with two students. A girl and a boy. The boy had freckles and a small nose. He sat up straight and was looking out the window. His brown hair was greasy and correctly gelled on the side. He turned to face Belinda and smiled.

"Hello," said the boy.

The girl that was sitting next to him looked up at Belinda and smiled. She put her head back down to stare at the floor. Her dirty blonde hair was in a high ponytail and she wore shoes that were too small for her feet.

"Hi," Belinda said with a slight wave.

"You're new aren't you?" The boy asked.

"Yes I am," Belinda replied smiling.

"My name is Hadrian Longbottom," said the boy in a confident tone.

"Oh, My name is Belinda Blacksmith, " Belinda said as she turned and looked at the girl staring at the floor.

"What's your name?" Belinda asked her.

The girl looked at her and smiled.

"Umm, Augusta, Augusta Westbrook," She smiled and took some money from her bag.

"Are you two friends?" she asked.

"Yes ever since the first year!" He replied.

"Do you mind explaining to me some more information about Hogwarts?" "I'm very confused," Belinda said.

"Umm...Well...Hogwarts is divided into 4 houses-," said Augusta.

"Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin," said Hadrian proudly.

"Yes, I-I'm in Ravenclaw and Hadrian is in Gryffindor," Augusta said smiling at Belinda.

"Is there any house I should be worried about?" asked Belinda.

"Umm, I like all of them," Augusta said, looking down at the floor.

Hadrian smiled at her and took some money from his bag.

"Do you have any money? The trolley is coming soon if you want anything,"

"Oh, yes I do, thank you," Belinda looked in her bag and took out some coins. A lady with big hair and a puffy face knocked on the compartment door.

"Anything from the trolly dearies!" The woman asked.

"Oh! Can I get a pack of Bertie Botts Every Flavored Beans?" asked Hadrian.

Belinda looked at him in confusion.

"Bertie Botts?"

"Oh, haha, It's quite brilliant actually! These beans are all different flavors, some are sweet and delicious some are gross and make you want to vomit," said Hadrian.

The lady handed him the beans and Belinda asked for water. Augusta asked for a chocolate frog and the lady soon left after that.

"Here try one!" Hadrian handed Belinda a red bean with brown spots on it.

"That's either strawberry or fish eyes," Augusta said as she ate a chocolate frog.

Belinda looked at the bean and popped it in her mouth. Her eyes began to water and her mouth became puckered.

"It's fish eyes!" She yelled.

Hadrian and Augusta started laughing at the sight of Belinda's look of disgust. Then suddenly a tall boy with black hair and icy eyes walked up to their compartment. Knocking frantically on the door. Belinda was still laughing as she opened the door.

"Will you people keep it down! I am trying to read!" said the boy.

"Oh sorry Tom," said Augusta.

"You should be!" he replied.

"Hey calm down, go back to your reading and we will try to quiet down," Belinda said sarcastically.

The boy clenched his teeth and turned around in fury, with his book in his hand, it read, The Power of The Dark Arts.

Belinda noticed his book and furrowed her brows. She shook her head as a signal to herself and turned to face Hadrian and Augusta.

"I think his trousers are on too tight," said Belinda with a slight chuckle. Augusta began laughing and so did Hadrian at Belinda's hilarious remark. The boy from before opened the compartment door harshly with his wand clenched between his fingers.

"I heard that!" he snapped.

"Yes, of course, that's the point" she replied.

"Longbottom! Stop laughing at me or you'll be sorry!" The boy said as he pointed his wand in their direction.

Belinda raised an eyebrow and started laughing. She touched the tip of his wand and lowered it away from their face.

"Don't touch my wand!" he yelled.

"Yeah! Well then don't be a pain in the ass! Then we'll call it even"  she rolled her eyes and pushed him out of the compartment slamming the door shut behind her.

"Who the bloody hell was that?" Belinda asked, sitting back in her seat.

"Tom Riddle, the scariest person at Hogwarts,"  replied Hadrian. Belinda laughed and looked outside her window.

"Yeah right!" said Belinda. Augusta started chuckling and Hadrian started talking a little bit more about Hogwarts as Belinda laid her head on the window.

The grey clouds were going away and the sun was starting to come out. Belinda smiled at the thought of a sunny day and closed her eyes as she slowly started to drift away by the sound of the noisy train.
