(A/N): Y'all should be happy. I wrote nonstop. You could listen to Uptown Funk. It kind of suits the chapter.
A lot of Calum.
YAS CALUM :D
"Are you alright miss?" He had asked.
He looked so innocent. So so innocent. And not to forget, hot.
A healthy dose of hot.
He was wearing a black sweatshirt over a white t-shirt, wayfarers hanging on the collar. He wore black skinny jeans and his long legs were a sight man. His eyes were the same alluring, chocolaty brown, twinkling with mischief. Had he caught me? Was my cover blown already?
Damn.
Even then, I'd have to wait. I couldn't very well just march forward and announce my name out loud. No need to tell him that I'm Violet.
What a time to be alive.
I rolled my eyes.
You have to hide your identity from your own boss.
I snorted.
Calum raised an eyebrow.
Swoon!
No. No swooning! Hush Violet. Shut up.
"You okay there?"
"Yeah. Um, I'm alright. No worries Mister." I said awkwardly.
He gave me an unsure look before looking around and finally settling down next to me. Even when he had sat down he kept turning his head back and forth.
"The flight will take off in one minute. The passengers are kindly requested to fasten their seat belts and switch off any and all cellular devices." The intercom announced.
I was already settled but my companion was not. Calum took out his iPhone. Make that two iPhones, and he put them on Airplane Mode. He looked ridiculously cute and definitely not like a sex god like that one night. Sexy ßitch and an adorable puppy. What a combination.
Don't forget arrogant.
Oh how could I ever forget his arrogance.
Suddenly he started staring at me before shaking his head and turning away from me.
What the fuçk? I didn't even do anything!
The seat belt sign came up and as I fastened mine, so did he.
I could feel the plane moving and it was not a pleasant feeling. I had flown only twice before this and that too when I was little. I didn't remember jack shít about what flying felt like but as for the situation I was in? To escape it, I would happily do my neighbor Mrs Killian's manicure and pedicure. That would be a feat because a beaver would have better feet than Mrs Killian.
I shivered thinking about her and my fear of airplanes skyrocketed. It felt... new. It was a very new and a very undesirable feeling. I gripped my arm rest for dear life as the plane started gaining speed and gradually left the ground.
Amidst my fear I took a glimpse at Calum and the arrogant ßastard was simply sitting there like nothing was happening.
Jerk.
He was probably used to flying regularly and as for me, the situation was quite different.
"Just breathe in and out. It'll be fine." I heard him say. Turning around to look at him, I felt surprised at how grateful I was because he was by my side. I nodded once in reply and he looked away.
