RIP HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh (10 June 1921- 9 April 2021).
The crooks ran towards Ryan, who continuously swished his claws, cutting their knives into two and breaking the barrels of their guns off. Whenever he was done with the weapons, he'd go for the crooks, one by one, stabbing their bodies, cutting large cuts in their skin on their skulls, legs, arms, chests, even cutting off an arm of two, blood splattering on the ground. Ryan, fueled by anger, did not care, Only seeing them as obstacles, and removed those obstacles in seconds. He then came upon Joseph, who stood fearlessly with a knife in his left hand. "I did not expect this moment to come so quickly." He said viciously. "It's only been 2 days. Now let's finish where we left off!" Ryan growled, before he easily cut Josephs knife by swishing his left claws, before stabbing his right claws into Joseph's chest, retracting them, and the body fell to the floor. Meanwhile, Dan made his way through the crowd, getting out of the area.
Jess and Hannah, currently setting up the EMP, within the building with all of the main servers, heard the sound of screaming from beyond the walls of the building. "Just hope he knows what he's doing." Hannah spoke as Jess pressed the black button the the EMP, and a seconds later, a loud BOOM sound came from it. Silence filled the room until, a few seconds plater, sparks started flying from the rows of servers, the lights in the room then suddenly going out. Luckily, they had their torches, which they used to find their way out of the building. Once out the door, the entire facility also dark with the lights off, the screaming was much louder, and Jess ran to the left, in the direction of the screaming, just as all of the lights around the facility came back on. "Backup power may be on, but the data in the hard drives in the servers will be gone!" Her mother shouted to her just as she turned around the corner. Turning round the corner, she saw blood all over the ground, originating from a dozen or so dead bodies, missing hands, forearms, entire limbs. She saw Ryan with a monster out look on his face, cut the right arm off of the last standing crook, before stabbing the man's chest with both claws, making him fall to the ground. Jess then leaned her head down and vomited. Ryan, the front of his grey vest covered in blood, turned towards her as she came up to him, his mother coming up to Jess's left. "Ryan, this wasn't part of the plan. " Jess spoke, as Hannah came up to them, her mouth gaping open. "Plan's changed. Where Daniel?" Ryan asked venomously. "I don't know. More to the point, why are you tearing them limb from limb?" Jess asked again. "You don't understand! Besides, he's the one responsible for your fathers death... as too, the death of mine." Ryan answered softly with a growl.
His face darkened as he stared at her and Hannah. "Did you know?" He asked hoarsely. "No. And I don't think Martin knew either." Hannah answered calmly. Ryan then tried to run forwards, his face full of rage, but Jess, Hannah, and Heather grabbed his chest and right shoulder, making stop. "You don't understand! I have to kill him! He must pay for what's done!" Ryan yelled at them. "Ryan, killing him isn't gonna bring your father back." Jess said. "Nor will it change anything. And neither will it bring you peace." Hannah said softly. "Ryan, your father would never had wanted you to do this. And your fathers death doesn't give you an excuse to kill him." Heather said calmly. "Mum, he killed dad! Along with Jess's! It totally proves my point! And you don't seem very surprised!" Ryan insisted. "I'll tell you later." Heather said. "He would have wanted to be alive! And why do you care, all of a sudden? According to you, I wasn't a good kid, anyway, not standing up for myself!" Ryan added stubbornly. "I said that a long time ago, Ryan! I'm telling you what he used to tell me. Be the better person. If you kill him, then you'll be no better than him. You'll become the monster he is." Heather replied. Ryan's face began to look calmer as he panted, realising they were right and stared at them. He then looked to the right and saw a security heading towards them, armed with a pistol. "Look out!" Ryan yelled, but before or the others could react, a small thin metal beam hit the guard, knocking him out cold. They all looked figth and saw Mark standing with his arms outstretched, indicating he'd thrown the beam, Tom standing behind him to his right. "Thank you guys." Ryan said, before he ran away from the group. "The charges are set to blow!" He heard Tom shout after him.
