Story of Lion Man

Chapter 16

This is the sixteenth chapter, but it will be a sort of ending for THIS PART of the story, and will also include a mini post credit scene. 

2 days later...

Back at home in Bath, Ryan, wearing a black shirt and grey trousers, and his family were sitting on the table, having just finished dinner. The battle at the facility in Devon had mostly been covered up, but th public had been told that the explosion were from faulty wiring or equipment, and the dead crooks bodies had been taken away by the Police, their bodies likely incinerated, and the workers involved in the serum production weren't allowed to tell anyone what happened, if they saw any of the action. Due to the deaths of both brothers, Daniel's being covered as a simple helicopter crash, the Leonez Chrmistry company was being sold to a larger company, which meant that Heather could keep her job, and actually got a promotion. "So, mum, you gonna tell me why weren't surprised about hearing about Dad?" Ryan then asked Heather. "Okay, well, a few days he died, after his funeral, two policemen came to see me. They told me that the sounds on your father weren't those normally sustained from a car, but more like he was struck with a knife. They said your father had made some very strange calls before he got into his car, and from what they found, he was onto something that caused him a lot of concern, and that whatever it was, he was probadly killed to keep it a secret. They said they'd be keeping it silent to make the culprits think they'd succeeded, in the hopes it would make them reveal themselves over time. And, for the sake of the family, they also told me to keep it secret." Heather explained. "I understand, mum." Ryan replied with a nod. "So, will you be doing anymore heroic stuff like that, son?" Heather asked, wearing a grey long sleeve shirt and white trousers. Ryan then looked at her, clearly surprised. "Oh, um... I don't know. I haven't really thought about it." Ryan answered. "Well you should, because your a superhero now." Molly said excitedly, wearing a pink shirt with a white flower in the middle and purple trousers . "Have the Avengers been in touch any chance?" Heather then asked, Ryan widening her mouth and eyes in shock. "No, no, uh, well,... I haven't heard a word from them. And honestly, I don't think they'd pay much attention to a guy like me. Besides their fully grown adults, I'm just an under 16 year old kid from England." Ryan answered hesitantly. Ryan had told them both what had happened, (except that he thought the Falcon) and they were both proud and happy for him. "Oh, well,... I'll just wait and see." Ryan added.

They then heard some loud/frantic knocking on the front door. Heather got up from her chair and went up the front door and opened it. "Ryan!" He heard Mark's voice coming from the door before Mark ran into the room, wearing a green shirt and black shorts, sweating and out of breath. "Ryan, listen! Your not gonna believe what we heard today! Tom's on his way to tell the Leonez's!" Mark frantically yelled as he still panted. Ryan got up from his chair and walked up to him. "Calm down, pal. Calm down. Breath. Now, tell me what the problem is." Ryan said calmly. "Okay, so, we were chatting with this friend of our great aunt, and he tells us about this chick he met at the pub last night. He sat down at the table in front of her, and she says 'Hey, handsome, you know, I'm like a big boss in the world of spy journalism, and I got big connections with people with the big guns, right.' And he asks her 'Really?' But he did wonder if she was slightly drunk at that moment. Anyway, so she answers 'Yeah and, you know what, I've got a secret contact, and I can't tell you who he is, but he works with the Avengers.'" That's what he told us, The Avengers!" Mark explained loudly and quickly, Ryan's mouth and eyes widening upon hearing that. "Oh, no." Ryan said as he then placed both his hands on both sides of his head. "That's not all. You see, she also told him about how earlier, she had a meeting with this contact. He asks her 'I'm looking for this new guy, whom nobody has ever seen, does really unusual moves, what you got?', and she answers 'we got loads of unusual nowadays. A jumping person, a swing person, wall crawling person, you got to be specific.' And then he replies 'i'm looking for a guy with really long nails and is covered in fur.'" Mark added before taking a deep breath. "Ok, I'm nearly done now. After we heard that, and got over the shock, since we know about your little secret, pal,  Tom asked him, 'Did the contact guy tell the chick to tell you, to tell us, that because we might know who he's taking about, that he's looking for him?'" Mark then continued. "And? What did he say?" Ryan asked, sweating a little with worry. "He said 'Yes'." Mark answered.

Post credit scene

In a dark building with Bucky Barnes, AKA The Winter Soldier, his left mechanical under a load of metal objects, Sam Wilson stood by Steve Rogers, AKA Captain America we're discussing what to do. " Wilson"We're on our own." Rogers said. Wilson then shrugged. "Maybe not. I know a guy or two." He said.

And that's the sixtheenth chapter! The quickest chapter I've ever written, in less than 2 hours. The next chapter will be out shortly. You may have noticed some of this chapter was similar the ending scene in "Ant-Man" (2015), because it was inspired by it.The story is not over, not by a long shot.
