When the world is threatened by a jealous man with a desire for superiority, a young boy with issues must find the courage in his heart, and find his roar...
This is the twenty second chapter. Hope you enjoy it. The twins are back in this one!
Glasgow, Scotland's largest city. And within that city was Ryan, Hannah and Jess. They (having used the wigs to get past the police checkpoints when they entered the city, as well as for the police patrols they encountered) were staying at the hotel where the Conner twins, Markus and Thomas (or Mark and Tom) were staying, in Scotland on a little holiday. When they saw Ryan and the Leonez's at their door, they had both gasped at the sight, then slowly calmed down, while Ryan told them everything. Ryan sat a small chair by a desk, Jess sat on the edge of the bed, the twins sitting in chairs by a small round table. They had hardly changed at all, though Tom was growing a little stubble beard. Mark wore a black jumper over a grey shirt, Tom wearing a red shirt. Both of them were also wearing traditional Scottish Kilts.

"Woah, Lion-Man and the Leonez's. In your hour of need, again you come seeking our help." Tom said excitedly/ giddily with a smile, holding a cup of coffee in his hands. "Yes, yes, Tom, we're need your help." Ryan said hoping it would calm him down. "So, you think the rumours about the strange 'lizard' sightings in the Loch are true, and people were shooting at you?" Mark asked them. "We think?! We say it!" Jess said back at him. "Pah. All week he's been looking on the net about the whole 'Lizard in Scottish lake', Loch Ness Monster, blah, blah, blah." Tom said, clearly irritated. "You know, guys, the more I think about it, maybe those people who attacked us are in cohoots with the liars thing." Ryan said, making everyone look at him. "What makes you say that? How could an animal be in cohoots with humans?" Tom asked. "Well, if you think about it, it's pretty obvious those people, whoever they were, were waiting for us. And somehow, I keep thinking that creature was too. It attacked Jess as soon as she got the boat into the water, and since the Loch is big, it could have been anywhere, and since no creature that big can get halfway down a Loch that big in a few seconds, it should have been in that area for it to attack Jess so swiftly." Ryan explained. "Hmm, that's a pretty good theory, Ryan." Hannah complimented. "So... what do we do now?" Jess asked. "Yeah, what's the plan?" Tom also asked. "First, we need to head out into the countryside. We need to find out who those people are." Hannah answered. "But you just got here, guys." Mark said. "You forget, we're wanted people. And if anyone sees Ryan, and tips off the Police, then so is he." Jess explained. "Yeah, and if I'm caught outside and caught with you before my house arrest expires, then I'm going to prison forever." Ryan said, with a tiny hint of worry. "We know that, Ryan. Rigth now we need to get back on the road, right, Mum?" Jess asked, as she then stood up from the bed. "Your rigth, dear." Hannah said as she too got up and they both headed for the door. "Thank you, guys, for letting us in here. Come see me when house arrest is over." Ryan said, facing the twins before he frantically began getting out of his chair. "You got it, pal." Tom said to him as went out the room, doing a rigth hand thumbs up.
A few minutes later, the recharged van was now on the outskirts of Glasgow, having encountered very little police activity. In the back, Ryan had a look on his face which showed he was deep in thought. "You okay, Ryan?" Jess asked him, as he shook out his thoughts. "Yeah. Yeah. Just can't keep thinking about something. I can't keep wondering... maybe the same people who set me up are the same people involved with this creature, and they did it to get us here." He answered. "I beg your pardon?" Jess asked, tiling her head in confusion. "Well..." Ryan was about to say, but Hannah then suddenly spoke. "We're being followed." She said, before accelerating the van as fast as she could. Jess looked in the rigth hand side mirror while Ryan looked through on of the back windows, where he saw a black Mercedes car coming rapidly behind them. "That car's been following us since we left the Loch. It diverted when we got to the hotel, and I didn't guess it was following us till it got on our tail again after we left the hotel." Hannah explained as they came crossroads and drove the van down the left hand-side road. They went down the road, barely noticing a long roll of fabric with sharp metal spike all over it roll out into the road from the roadside. It was too late to stop, and when the vans types impacted the spikes, they van jolted before coming to a halt. "Stingers! We're not going any further in this!" Jess cried in frustration, the black Mercedes closing from behind. She then unfasten her seatbelt, grabbed a vial of orange Lion serum. She then opened the glove box and pulled a bundle of material out of it and then opened the door. "Hey! Hey! What are you doing?" Ryan asked as he saw her getting out and slammed the door. Ryan then looked back at the Mercedes, which came to an abrupt halt, before the back doors opened, and two men in black clothes armed with assault rifles got out, their rifles aimed at the van.
