This is the eighteenth chapter. Hope you enjoy it. I don't any any of these characters except my own.
A while later...
Ryan, wearing blue prison clothes, sat down bored on the bare metal seat of the cell he was in. He, Barton, Lang, Wanda, and Wilson had been arrested and sent to an advanced underwater prison for enhanced individuals known as the "Raft". Ryan currently was in the cell after Wilson's. The door to the comparent which all their cells were part of opened, and as Ryan looked rigthwards, he saw Tony Stark step into the room. Ryan turned his head to face the bare metal wall while Barton began clapping. "The futurist, gentlemen! The futurist is here! He sees all. He knows what's best for you." He heard Barton say. "Give me a break, Barton. I had no idea they'd put you here. Come on." He heard Stark say to Barton. "Yeah, well, you'd knew they'd put us somewhere, Tony." Barton replied, spitting on the floor. "Yeah, but not some super-max floating ocean pokey. You know, this is a place for maniacs. This is a place for..." Stark replied before Barton said what Ryan thought Stark was about to say for him. "Criminals? Criminals, Tony. Think that's the word you're looking for. Right. That didn't used to mean me. Or Sam or Wanda. But here we are." Barton said. "Because you broke the law. I didn't make you. You read it, you broke it." Stark replied, Ryan hearing Barton saying 'la-la-la' a few times.
"All rigth? Your all grown up. You got a wife and kids. I don't understand. Why didn't you think about them before you choose the wrong side?" Stark asked, but Ryan felt like he should be asked a question like that too, as he had friends and family, but hadn't really thought this whole recent thing through, without much thought of them. "You gotta watch your back for this guy." Barton said, before a loud BANG sound made Ryan jump. "There's a chance he's gonna break it." Barton added. "Hank Pym always said you never can trust a Stark." He heard Lang say. "Who are you? And the kid?" He heard Stark ask him. "Come on, man." He heard Lang mutter before Ryan got up on his feet and walked forwards to the bars and saw Stark walking up to Wilson's cell. "You know, I'm starting to understand why my late master never trusted your father with his serums." Ryan said, though Stark didn't pay much attention to him, except do a suspicious looking on his face at him, as he walked up to his cell. Ryan sat down again and leaned his head against the wall, looking rigthwards at Stark. "Just a quick question, kid. That's you, isn't it?" Stark asked, after pressing his watch, which made a holographic recording of his fight in Devon a few months prior, probably from CCTV footage. "Uh, no. Just some dude in a Lion costume." Ryan answered, trying his best to lie. "Really? Because it heavily resembles how you looked at the airport." Stark said, as the hologram played the footage of him jumping to the helicopter. "Wow, nice jump. More than 20 feet up in the air, target moving away from you, nearly the end of the roof. That's not easy. You've got some mad muscles in those legs." Stark complimented as he turned off the hologram. "Oh, thank you, Mr Stark. I'm very proud of myself, as are you." Ryan said sarcastically, before Stark walked to Ryan's right to Wilson's cell. "How's Rhodes?" He heard Wilson ask Stark, referring to War Machine who had been injured during the fight. "Well, flying him to Columbia medical tomorrow, so, fingers crossed." He heard Stark answer. Ryan was a little bored of this, so he decided to stop listening to the conversations around him. And a few minutes later, Stark soon left.
Ryan got up and knelt his head against the metal bars, his head facing Wilson's cell. "What did Stark want?" Ryan asked him. "He wanted to know where Rogers went." Wilson answered, which kind of shocked Ryan. "And you told him?" He asked, rather loudly. "He made a mistake. He's the good cop now, and he's going there as a friend." Wilson replied. "Well, he better know what he's doing." Ryan muttered as he turned away from the bars and lied down on the seat.
A few days later...
Ryan sat on the floor bored out of his mind, with his back against the wall of his cell, as he saw a guard walk past his and the others. Suddenly the lights went out, except for a few red ones. He got up on his feet and saw movement in the dark, but the confused look on his face slowly turned to a smile that formed on his face as he saw Rogers step into the room.
the end of "Civil War". I know it's been short, but still, the adventure continues. The next few chapters will be a story about Ryan in between this moment and the snap in "Infinity War". Please leave a comment.
