Why are you talking to me... (BokuAka)

Chapter 20

Kuroo drove us into the forest and we arrived at the place he said we should set up camp at around 9.30. Not bad at all. We had been driving the whole night but it almost felt like time wasn't real then and I really liked that feeling.

He parked and we walked around a little to find some soft flat ground which we found in a clearing with only a few trees here and there. We decided on camping under a tree though, so the wind and possible rain won't get us too bad. We had to share a tent because the incompetent Kuroo forgot to bring one with him. I should have brought two, I knew it.

Kuroo was actually pretty good at setting the tent up. It wasn't too big since I had only anticipated me and Bokuto would share one but it still had plenty of space for 4 of us.

Kuroo said it would be a good idea to get some food from the store even though I had packed some. It was majorly snacks though so we should probably get something more filling for dinner and such. He also said he'd want to make a fire because then it wasn't a 'full camping experience'

We set everything up so it was ready for when we got back and then made our way to the car once again. The little town was really pretty and had a gas station and a supermarket. It was small but would surely have everything we needed. Kuroo sent us three to the store whilst he put fuel in the car since it was running low. He gave me some money since he said I was the most responsible out of us three to which I had to agree. Bokuto complained even though he knew full well it was true.

He ran around the store picking up random foods while I guided Kenma around who hadn't looked up from his game in around two hours. Our friendship group really was interesting. I left him for two seconds whilst I screamed at Bokuto for jumping on top of one of the mini fridges, wearing a pink cowboy hat.

"Oomph sorry" I heard Kenma say. I was out of breath but ran to where he was regardless to see what he'd done. It seemed he'd walked straight into two boys, around our age probably.

"It's fine. I should be the one apologising for this one here. He never looks up from his phone either" the guy who spoke was tall and looked a lot like Sugawara from karasuno, though his hair was a little more beige with grey tips. The shorter boy next to him had copper coloured hair, uneven bangs and a bored expression. He was also glaring at the taller boy like he'd said something very weird.

"Shut up Semi-smart."

"Pffft it used to be semi-stupid. Did you bumping into each other change something up here Shirabitch?" He tapped the shorter's head with his finger which earned his a slap on the hand.

"Uh..." I stood there trying to find the right time to jump into the conversation though it never came. Bokuto was now also standing next to me watching these two argue like idiots while chewing a popsicle and still wearing that stupid hat. Kenma was back to playing his game which didn't surprise anyone at this point.

"Hey guys uh... who these two?" Kuroo was also now here.

"Oh yeah sorry we didn't introduce ourselves. I'm Semi Eita and this stupid one here is Shirabu Kenjirou."

"Wait aren't you the guys from Shiratorizawa" Kuroo leaned forwards, an amused expression on his face.

"Yeah... who are you guys?"

"I'm Kuroo Tetsurou and this is Kenma. We're from the Nekoma volleyball team. And that's Akaashi and Bokuto. Bokuto is on the Fukurodani volleyball team"

"I know who he is. Ushijima from our team just took the third spot from top three spikers from him" the copper haired boy snickered a little which made Bokuto whine from beside me. I pat him on the back. These two were very weird and strangely infuriating. Especially the short one.

"Well uh... we should get going now... bye" Semi dragged Shirabu by the collar and told him off inaudibly.

"Okay. That's was weird" Kenma commented.

"Yeah I know. Just don't look" Kuroo told his boyfriend though Kenma wouldn't have looked up from his game anyway.
