Why are you talking to me... (BokuAka)

Chapter 6

"You go and get someone I'll stay here"

"Okay Akaashi~ I won't disappoint I promise!" He jumped away in the direction of what I was assuming was the science classrooms (I didn't pay all that much attention on the tour)

How did a run to get the textbooks become an animal rescue mission? Something about this seemed awfully cliche as in two people who never usually speak having to do something together and then having a weird bonding experience.

It took a while but, sure enough, Bokuto brought a Zoology teacher. I didn't even know they had teachers who were so specialised here but being a private school, I shouldn't be surprised. He picked the baby owl up and said we could tag along and he'd give us a pass for the rest of class. Bokuto of course said yes immediately while I wanted to go back. It was my first lesson here and I'd end up skipping it? As if.

"No but Akaashi please! Come on- for me?"

"Bokuto-san I already said no"

"Please?"

"No"

"PLeAsE"

"nO"

"You two just shut up and come over here" I guess if I was being told to do so by a teacher I didn't have the right to refuse so, as much as I didn't want to, I had to stay. Truth be told, staying in a the same room as Bokuto was draining. His energy felt like it was feeding off other's making their spirits decrease whilst his increased tremendously. "So you see? This owl is probably 5 months old. It has a broken wing so that's why it didn't fly away" I called that one.

"Is there anything we can do to help it?"

"Well, Akaashi-kun, maybe but that all depends on whether the principal would allow us to keep a live animal in the school."

"Well surely old Konoha wouldn't have a problem I am his grandson's best bro and all"

"Bokuto I'd appreciate it if you showed a little respect" Bokuto really did have a problem following rules as it seemed and he had little sense of respect when it came to his teachers so I had to agree with the Zoology teacher on this one.

"Yeah okay"

"You two go and talk this out with him"

"Why us?" Surely two high school boys would do very little when trying to persuade a grown man to do something.

"Because you guys started this now go"

"Fine"

"And drop the attitude" despite my constantly calm demeanour sometimes I became very passive aggressive when things didn't go my way. I could feel it would start to happen soon.

"Sorry. Let's go Bokuto-san"

"Okay agaaaashiii." I rolled my eyes but smirked a little. His laughter and just overall energy was infectious. Bokuto once again led the way since I remembered very little of what Konoha had told me. I was spacing out a whole load when it came to unimportant classrooms.
