Chapter 21

We gathered everything we needed and drove back. I sat in the front once again since Kenma wouldn't be any help to Kuroo to navigate and Bokuto would distract him a lot.

"Wait isn't that the guys from earlier?" As we passed Kuroo's cabin we saw none other than the two boys from the store going to the cabin next door. Kuroo slowed the car down and opened my window.

"Are you guys stalking us or something?"

"We should be asking you that" Shirabu sounded irritated but Semi slapped him up the head which made him shut up quickly. Thank god. Bokuto was about to enter emo mode if he had even a little push thanks to this little brat. He was probably my age though so I don't know if I should be calling him little or a brat. He did act like a five year old though.

"Actually, we're camping out there" Kuroo pointed down the dirt road.

"Huh. Well have fun" Shirabu tried to drag Semi away but the taller stayed in one place and smiled.

"Yeah. Do have fun guys." He setter to walk away but Kuroo just HAD to say something else.

"You guys wanna come with?"

"Huh?"

"Well it's our first time here and you know... the more the merrier. We've seen each other's games so we're not exactly strangers..."

"That's true. I don't mind but this one here might..." he motioned towards the shorter who was going red in the face.

"I don't mind..."

"Really now? Shirabitch is an asshole all the time so that fact he doesn't mind... it's weird. Give us a sec we'll go pack before he changes his mind" Kuroo nodded and smiled. Once they were out of ear shot, I glared at him.

"Why would you do that!"

"Do what?"

"Ask them to come!"

"More the merrier"

"Yeah Akaashi come on" Bokuto chimed in.

"Well... I guess. But what about tents. We don't have enough space."

"They'll bring their own. They're not dumb."

"I wonder what they're doing together though" Kenma hadn't spoken in so long it made us all jump at his voice.

"What do you mean kitten?"

"Well they're both setters are they not? And it seemed they weren't on good terms their last match. So why are they here together. They might be at each other's throats"

"I still don't get it"

Kenma sighed. "Shirabu is a second year and Semi is a third year. It's Semi's last year at Shiratorizawa and Shirabu took the role of official setter. You'd think Semi would be mad but he doesn't seem to be. That's all"

"He could have brought him out here to kill him" Bokuto joked but it made us all a little worried.

"... you don't think..."

"Surely not"

"Are you all stupid? Of course he wouldn't!" At times like these I was the smartest here.

Shortly after, the two walked out, Shirabu unharmed. The SUV had 7 seats so Kuroo told the two to sit in the back since there would be no point in bringing two cars. They complied and we set off down the road once again.

Kuroo put on his emo songs palylist and sung along to Pierce the Veil and Sleeping with Sirens. But also My Chemical Romance as well, of course. I'd heard all these songs thanks to him before. A particularly sad song called the light behind your eyes by mcr came on and the mood in the car decreased noticeably.

"I know this song on guitar you know" semi commented.

"You play guitar?"

"Yeah. Electric and acoustic. I brought the acoustic one with me for some campfire songs" this guy really was a forward thinker.

"Good! Now let's have fun."
