"Boss you gotta see this!", Jason says, interrupting my train of thoughts.
Glancing up at his face I know it's urgent, yet I can't help feeling slightly annoyed that he disturbed me.
"What is it Jason? Be quick about it!", I unintentionally snap at him.
"It's about Alex Sir, we found something on the prisoner."
No sooner did I hear Alex's name I was out the door and following Jason wherever he was leading me.
They say you don't understand the value of something until you lose it and that couldn't be more true.
All I wanted at that moment was for Alex to be with me in my arms, safe. I just wanted her safe.
"What did you find?", I ask stepping into the room where we keep the belongings of all our hostages.
My eyes followed his hand as he gestured to the table.
