Happy Birthday?

Kat's POV

We went outside to Nina. She was playing in the leaves with Alexander. 

"Yay! Hello!" She greeted us warmly.

We all laughed and threw leaves at each other. 

I drew a transmutation circle on the ground for fun.

"What's that Kat. Come play with me!"

"This is a transmutation circle."

"It helps our wishes come true." Ed finished.

Al knelt besides the circle, me and Ed did the same. Placing our hands down, a flash of light appeared. A doll. We made a small doll for Nina. Alphonse gave it to her. She squealed, delighted. She kissed all of our heads.

Aww.

Hughes's POV

A flash of blue light. I pulled up by Shou's mansion. All of them were playing. I sighed.

"Hey! Happy Birthday Kat!"

"How do you know that?" she asked me, confused.

"Well, I'm in the Investigations Department, I wouldn't be very good at my job if I didn't know that."

"Yeah, the Major did it to me in February too. Oh yeah, its the 22nd. I totally forgot." Edward commented.

"Major? It's Lt. Colonel to you!" I said jokingly.

Shou Tucker walked out. "Ah, Hello Lieutenant Colonel."

"Hey, Tucker, the Colonel has a message for you, he said, 'Don't forget you upcoming assessment.' "

He nodded.

A small girl was looking up at me. I smiled.

"Okay, then, why are you here, Lieutenant?" Kat asked.

"Your birthday party of course!"

"Oh."

"Bye bye big brothers and sister." the small girl said, looking down.

Aww. They've already made a new friend!

"Of course you can come too Nina!" I announced.

She smiled gleefully.

Kat's POV

My birthday. I've celebrated it with Izumi and Sig. They would get a big cake and eat with me. We would go out and have loads of fun. I wish they were here now.

Hughes took us to his house. Elicia opened the door.

"Hello big sister!" she greeted, smiling.

Elicia grabbed mine and Edwards hands and dragged us in. She did the same with Nina and her dad.

"Hi Gracia! How are you? I bet Hughes has been pestering you!"

"Hey! That's unfair Kat!" Hughes replied.

"Oh, hey Kat! I'm good."

Something smelt good.

"What's that smell?" I asked.

Gracia smiled. "You'll see."

I played with Nina and Elicia as Ed and Al helped Hughes out. Hughes came up to me. "We've invited some of Elicia's friends, is that okay?"
