Tubbo's Jealousy

(Dream's song, Mask, came out. I honestly played it on loop for about an hour, it's so good. How do you guys feel about it?)

So basically, not many people actually see that c!tubbo ISN'T replacing c!tommy with c!ranboo. Tubbo hasn't forgotten about Tommy and his friendship, he was just with the person who was there to comfort him when Tommy wasn't. As well as him being worried to hurt Tommy more.

Tubbo blames himself for all of Tommy's pain during the whole exile arc when he really shouldn't. He hurt Tommy so much and he doesn't want to do it again, so he tries to stay away.

BUT. If you want to go down the road of saying that Tubbo's replacing Tommy, then I will tell you a bit of a story of when Tommy replaced Tubbo with Ranboo as well! :)

I'm a Tubbo apologist. I can say that Tubbo HAS done wrong, but all of it can be justified and you could see why he did what he did if you actually tried to look. So if you haven't seen Tubbo's perspective, you don't have a right to talk.

This also inspired by how Tubbo went dark when Tommy and Ranboo were getting along on twitter lol.

"Selfish..."

I really wish I didn't need to say that... I know it really hurt Tommy.

Tubbo was leaning against the caravan, just trying to process what just went down.

I had to say that to him in front of Dream. I can't appear biased in front of Dream, I had to show that I was angry at Tommy or else it would put him in more danger...

Tubbo sighed as he looked at the land that he's built. The land that he fixed from it being a crater, to a wonderful market of buildings. He then looked at the obsidian walls. The walls that are being said to be taken down, if he deals with Tommy's behavior.

Tubbo didn't exactly know how to do that. Tommy's always been above him. Tubbo has always been the sidekick, he was just a yesman. He couldn't just hurt his best friend.

But he already has... he hurt Tommy. He hurt his best friend with words... he hurt his best friend with even considering the idea of exile. Probation seemed fine, it would've been ok for Tommy to do that.

However, Tommy is Tommy. He wouldn't want to do that. He'd avoid every possible thing to write in a book since he would probably say it's an evasion of privacy even though it's for his own good. That's exactly what happened as well. Tommy messed up his chances to get a better outcome.

Tubbo let out a shaky sigh as he looked at his bandana. The bandana that Tommy gave him before they had to deal with all these wars. Just a small token he got when they were younger. Tubbo once again took another breath before he stood up straight.

I should probably go apologize to Tommy for that... I know it really hurt him... I need to tell him why I said that.

Tubbo walked out of the walls that were built around L'manburg. Tubbo walked around, looking for Tommy.

Where would Tommy be..?

Tubbo then smiled a little at a thought.

I guess he would be there... even if I hurt him...

Tubbo walked along the prime path to Tommy's house. Just as he expected, Tommy was on the bench. But... Tommy wasn't alone.

Ranboo was also on the bench.

Tubbo raised a brow, why is Ranboo on the bench..? I thought that was where Tommy and I went...

Tubbo shook the thought out. Tommy was mad at him, he needed to apologize. No time to get jealous. (At least he's self aware)

But still, what were they doing here? Tubbo began to listen a little bit.

"If they get rid of me... if... Tubbo gets rid of me... it'll hurt a lot... he'a choosing his nation over me. ME. I'm suppose to be his best friend! He's power hungry! It's changed him. I want my best friend back... but I doubt it would happen..."

Does... he think that of me...?

"I can try to talk to him for you... to get him on your side..." Ranboo suggested.

Tommy shook his head, "like he'd listen to you. He's power hungry now. He's different... he isn't the same Tubbo."

Hearing this made Tubbo's mood drop down, but he knew Tommy was just being emotional. He tended to say a lot of things he didn't mean when he was emotional. Tubbo was hoping that this was one of those moments.

"Thanks... for being a good friend at the moment... rather than what Tubbo is doing... thanks for sticking up for me..." Tommy said.

Ranboo smiled, "no problem... I'll do it because your my friend."

I... I guess I am being a bad friend... right now... but I have no choice...

Tubbo backed up a bit, he didn't want to interrupt Tommy. He knew that Tommy was really upset judging by how he thanked Ranboo. Tommy doesn't really thank people, he'll do it if he's just in the right emotion to.

Tubbo turned around to walk away before he glanced back at Ranboo talking to Tommy, comforting and reassuring him. Tubbo smiled sadly.

I guess... if they have each other, then it'll be good for Tommy... as long as I am not there to hurt him, he'll be fine.

Tubbo wiped away an incoming tear before walking away from the allium duo...

This was nothing big, but if Tubbo saw that Ranboo was replacing him at that moment, I'd assume this is how he would react judging by how he showed his jealousy on twitter.

He'd probably just assume that their better with each other and without him and walk away even if it hurt him. That's what I think anyway.

Still, some of you guys don't remember this scene and get mad at Tubbo for "replacing" Tommy. Wow.
