As the wind continued to sweep right at their faces Adira felt her eyelids become heavier as she realized the sleep she was lacking was actually kicking in. Her arms felt like they weighed a ton, as her legs did too, and before she knew it, her eyesight became blurry.

All of her surroundings became less sharp as she only saw blurred colors around her as the wind became less bearable than before. "Milo!" Adira shouted as she tried her best to hold on, her hands clenched onto his ripped leather jacket as he felt it slowly letting loose.

His head turned to the side as he commanded the horse to calm down, the horse printed its hoofs into the small layer of snow, slowly melting as the sun began to rise.

The night flew quick, and the second felt like minutes as Adira saw more than just blurred colors. "Allison, what's wrong?" Milo tried his best to see behind him but failed as he tried his best to keep her up.

"I haven't slept in days, Milo," Adira said with a trembling voice, and before he could answer to her, he felt her head dropping onto his back, as she had fallen asleep.

Her head rested onto his back as her head almost slid off his back, but with just the right reflection he managed to caught her as he almost fell from the standing still horse.

"I keep saving you Allison, its almost like you can't take care of yourself." He said with a whisper, his hands kept holding onto her head as he mounted the horse with patience.

He grabbed her under her arms as he tilted her up, almost as she was standing. She slowly slid off the horse as her boots made a crunching noise, her heels were settled into the thin white snow along with moss and grass.

Milo kneeled as he almost rested on the ground, but not that close he could feel the wet snow touching him, but before he knew it, it became too heavy making him lay down in the muddy snow.

Now, it was just him and her laying onto the ground as the horse gently tried searching for leftover grass, as the sun started to rise. Just as he was about to wake her, he noticed the peacefulness it gave him to see her like that.

Her eyes were shut, as her red cheeks stained onto her skin, her mouth slightly open as she breathed the cold air through her nose. Her small freckles were probably the best thing he had noticed as he stroke his finger across her cheek, brushing away a small lock of her silky hair.

"You're something different Allison." He whispered.

His hair was slightly wet as one single drop of ice-cold water fell down onto her cheek, but even though the drop flows down her face, she hadn't even made a reaction. And with that, a small smirk onto Milo's face appeared as he already sat himself down into the wet snow.

He was freezing cold, but even though he could barely feel his own fingers inside of his leather gloves, it hadn't matter, since this was the first time he truly felt peace since he arrived here.

As minutes went by footsteps approached in the distance as the sun had already set its first orange glims. Milo almost fell asleep along with Adira, but he had to stay awake for the sake of both of their safety.

He shook Adira multiply times as her eyes slowly fluttered open, her mumbling was unrecognizable as her eyes tried to stay shut. "Allison wake up, someone's coming." He whispered as he shook her a few more times.

"What?" Adira mumbled, her eyes slightly opened as she saw his face looking directly into her green eyes. "Someone's coming, hurry."

Milo tilted Adira's head up as he tried standing up, even though both of his legs were sleeping since Adira was the one to sleep on it.

Adira woke up in an instant as she felt the cold snow onto her back, quickly standing up. The footsteps came nearer as she wiped off the leftover snow onto her back as it had already melted into her ripped clothing.

She quickly grabbed the horses' leash as she dragged it into the forest, which slowly began to lighten up more. "Come on!" Milo said as he already stood behind one of the bigger trees in the forest.

"We can't hide, not with a big horse with us!" Adira snapped, walking over some dead twigs as the leaves fell down.

"Well, make it lay down!" Milo snapped back, as his whole expression changed from warm to as cold as the melted snow around them.

"What I-" Adira stopped her sentence as she had no choice but to hide behind a tree and hope for the best they weren't being able to spot a black horse in the forest.

It wasn't as dark as night, but maybe enough they couldn't spot a horse in the forest, and as they both hid behind a big tree, they tried their best to hide the horse along with them.

A big carriage rode on the path as four big, black horses rode onto the slippery path. The carriage was just enough to fit four people inside, it had black outlining, beautiful detail as there was silver outlining all over along with the black.

Big wheels, made of the darkest wood, and a carriage driver, with a black suit along with a white tie. He looked a little old, probably around his 40th's. His hat was made of the purest black color you could ever find, as his hair was silky grey.

The carriage had a window where you could barely see the passenger, as they were only able to identify a woman with brown hair, almost like it was made out of silk.

"Who are they?" Adira whispered to Milo as he slowly turned his head around to see the carriage.

"No idea, probably the princess of some stupid kingdom around here," Milo smirked as he turned his head back to Adira.

The only thing he could see was frowned eyebrows on Adira's face as she looked Milo dead serious in his eyes. "Stop it, she could be dangerous."
