Adira's string of her silky dress fell off her shoulder as she placed it back, she ran to the weapon room which was on the other side of the castle. She ran down the halls with dirt under her feet.
She slammed the heavy door open, with a creak she took one of the many torches on the walls and walked in.
The room was dark, but the torch lighted up most of the space, except for the corners which were filled with big cobwebs. It was colder than the other rooms, the bricks were darker. Adira lifted her torch and saw all of the gloomy weapons hanging on the wall.
The torch-lit up the strong metal as dust flew in the air on the long not-used weapons. She walked towards the weapons with dust under her feet she tried to brush off. She placed the torch on the wall, one that hasn't been filled.
Her hands touched each weapon she could as she felt the dust on her fingers, her eyes reflecting onto the iron. Her eyes were glittering onto the dusty iron, she places her whole hands onto the sharp axe and tried wiping away the leftover dust she had blown away before.
With a wipe, she felt something sharp, turned her hand around she saw a minor cut, slit perfect on her hand, and before she looked again, it was gone. She didn't hesitate as she looked around, she saw many weapons, bows, arrows, swords, and armor. None of them were as interested and the sword she lost from the other nation.
She turned herself as the dust flew aggressively around her, she took one of the bows and walked out as fast as she could while she took the torch with her. And with a glittering in her eyes, the door closed without any hesitation.
She slammed open the bedroom door and threw the weapon onto the bed. Her footsteps heavily cracking onto the wooden floor as she opened the balcony doors; smoke was sky-high, the fire was spreading everywhere as Adira threw the torch over her balcony fence.
The balcony fence was covered in tiny pieces of dust, snow mixed with the ash of the destroyed forests, Adira felt the pain of the forest burning slowly, the villages being raided and the animals crawling out for help.
Her eyes watered, they became red as the dust flew into her eyes, but maybe it was just the water filling it. It was sad how everything got destroyed.
She looked up to the sky, tails stook out once in a while in the smoke, wings were showed and colors of all sorts colored the painted dark sky. The snow fell out of the clouds, but so did.. lighting?
Adira had no time to waste, as she walked back to her glass door and shut it without hesitation, only force. Her feet were covered in dust, her leg hairs were giving goosebumps and her hair was already a mess. She walked to her closet door, all the way to the back.
She stumbled on one of her outfits she hadn't worn in what felt like forever, and immediately took it out of the closet. The outfit was made of leather, some jeans that weren't as special, the only special thing,
was the cloak.
She had already dressed herself all up, except for her cloak she was suppose to wear, she turned it around and placed it on her shoulder, as she walked out of the closet. She walked herself to the mirror, her hair was now down, and with one of her strings, she made two small ponytails in the back, to keep any hair out of the way.
Her brown hair was silky and newly washed, but she knew it wasn't going to be a clean fight, not when she was going to be there. She twirled herself around to the bed, the bow laying there perfectly as it dusts imprinted on the blankets.
She took it off the bed with her one hand and slid it off the bed leaving even a bigger print, but as it fell off the bed she felt the heavy bow, and with that; the bow fell on her toe.
ouch.
She lifted and gripped the bow with this time, both of her hands, and quickly got the hang of it. With both of her hands now holding the bow, she kicked the door open, but what she saw truly was the topping of the cake.
The halls were destroyed, the fire was spreading, the roof was blown away as some guards laid down on the ground, without any life inside of them.
Piles of dirt were laying on the stone-cold ground, the fire was burning all of the last pieces of wood, pillars were falling as everything got destroyed.
Adira felt something barreling up inside of her, her hands began to feel warmth, but so did her face. It began to feel red as the ashes flew everywhere.
It flew just next to her eyes, she saw every last dust piece flying, but she felt like it was enough.
Everything was falling apart around her, but the only thing still standing was herself.
She placed her hands back to the bow and raised it with all of her strength, the wood began to have veins made of bright blue light, and suddenly,
It weighed like a feather.
