A/N: before reading this remember, you are loved and welcome on my page, it's Pride month and it's important to accept anyone who feels like they are different or less valued. With that being said, enjoy <3

"Enzo?" Adira stumbled, she sees him in his riding gear, ready to go and take a ride with her.
"Adira, just because you forgot doesn't mean I didn't," Enzo mumbles, walking towards Adira.

"I know, but every time I see you I just,"
"You just what Adira? Get the feeling I am nothing to you, you lost all of the feelings we had for each other? Have you forgotten what we have been through?" Enzo says, standing infront of her, his hand on her arm.
"I don't know Enzo, I just need time." Adira looks down, at her boots clean like you could eat food off of them.

"No, you need time with Felix, you don't love me." Enzo lets her arm slowly go, almost rubbing it. "Not anymore." He mumbled looking right into her eyes, they became blurry as if he was about to shed a tear but instead, he sucks it up and walks away.

"I'd wish you remembered the feelings we used to have." He says before closing the door and leaving her alone in the cold stables.

Adira turned herself around next to the darker horse, she read the name tag without looking twice at Enzo walking away.

Hozier.
What a beautiful name, Adira thought.

She opens up the door with a few cracks, she felt the dust gluing onto her leather gloves. She took one of the halsters next to the stables and took the horse with her, her head down with the thoughts feeding her up, alive.

Adira finished with the preparations, she walked with the horse outside of the stables right into the forest, memories tried flooding back, but instead, they blocked themselves out. They didn't want to be a memory, they wanted to be forgotten.

She mounted on the horse like she used to, and slowly drove towards the forest.

It felt like old times for her, back to when she felt pure and full of light; now in her feeling, it felt like it extinguished. She drove back the path, the small stones on the ground had satisfying sounds, her mind finally calming down.
But then it hit her, it hit her all, what happened before she decided to marry the person she despised.

Before her marriage with Kristoff,
"Milo, what are you doing here?" Adira asked, looking at the man as the cold ground slowly sunk Adira in. "I needed to see you one last time." He looked her right in her eyes, there he stood with nothing but a torch lighting up the darkest corners.

"I don't understand," Adira mumbles,
"I need to tell you something."
"I'm not just someone who explores the woods like normal, I work for someone who is planning to rule this kingdom, but he has forbidden me to tell you his name," Enzo explains.
Adira walks closer to him, looking him in his eyes as the fire glimmers into his brown eyes, leaves slowly falling onto his hair.

"My name isn't Milo, it's Enzo st. Jones, brother of Killian st. Jones." Adira's heart almost stopped, she felt herself trembling, her fingers shaking. "Milo, That's not possible, I mean Enzo." Adira stumbles, almost falling onto the cold ground, her knees covered in dirt.

"Adira please don't-"
"Wait, you, you know my name." She stumbles looking down at him, but all she saw was disgust. "Fuck you." She mumbles, she looks him in his eyes as a tear slowly fell down her cheek, her eyes felt like burning, but so did her stomach.

"I fucking hate you," Adira slightly sobs, clenching her hands together in a fist, she punched him, she punched him as hard as she possibly could. Her hands punched his chest, but he didn't even flinch.

All he did was stand there, looking at the person he lied to, betrayed, pretended he was there to help, "You lied to me!" Adira shouted with sobs, punching him with every word, but it didn't help, not one bit.

She kept punching him, hopefully all the pain would go away, she thought; but it didn't, it didn't work, she felt like all hope has been lost for her.

Her two fists slowly sunk off of his chest, he held his eyes closed, he felt like a failure looking at her crying, the feeling of total disappointment hit them as she fell on her knees.

"I lost everything, I had nothing when I met you." She looked up at him as he slowly sank to her level, his knees onto the dirt ground.

"My brother is dead or was. My, my parents are fucking dead I mean," She continues looking to the ground, Enzo lowered his torch, he didn't care about the fire that could destroy everything, he cared only about her world being destroyed.

"Where is my brother?" Adira looks up to him, her eyebrows more knitted than ever, her eyes almost piercing through him and tears flooding down uncontrollably. "He's on a ship, he works together with my boss, the person I can't tell you about."

Adira's sobs stop, her eyes become emotionless but so does her expression, "My brother's a pirate?" Adira asks,
"Yes, he hunts mermaids."
"You mean sirens." Adira corrects, looking back down, his hands both holding her arms steady. "Don't touch me." Adira snaps, snapping her arms away from his hands.

"Adira I know it's overwhelming, but please calm down."
"How can you even fucking tell me to calm down, Enzo." Adira remains her eye contact, but something was missing, something felt off.

Enzo knew that feeling, he knew what it feels like for someone to lose everything, to go on survival mode because they have been through so much, he knows that feeling. But he hadn't felt it for someone else before, he looked her in the eyes and something felt missing,

Her compassion.
