"Adira, just wait!" A yell was made, echoing once again in the halls. The doors closing behind him with a big bang that made the chandeliers move. "I don't have time for you," Adira said, footsteps banging onto the cold, stone floor.
"I need-," The door shuts behind Adira, dust flying through the halls "You." He finishes, but it wasn't going to work, the past was ice, something that couldn't be broken, only melted.Their wall was too big, only if he just reached out to her, but he couldn't.
Flashback
"Adira!" Felix shouted, looking at her face, the water dripping from her cold face. Her lips were blue, eyes rolling back. "Wake up, Adira!" He shouted once again, but nothing happens.
His hands resting onto her face, pale like a ghost, her head resting onto his legs."Please baby, you can't die.." His eyes closed with fear, fear of what might happen to her, but it was his karma. He left her when she needed him most when she cried all those restless nights hoping he would show up on her doorstep.
But he never did.He watched her, he looked at that one drawing someone drew for them back in their favorite village, he remembers. "You look so ugly in that drawing." He giggled, grabbing the drawing out of her hands.
"Give it back Felix!" Adira says, her eyebrows frowned. "Fine, fine." He says, Adira taking it out of his hands.
'I love you.' Felix thought on the wagging ship, on the waters, moving like it was having a tantrum.
But then his mind stopped it, the things he was always thinking about when no one was looking at him. They haunted him like ghosts, the nights he lied awake on deck thinking about the lost love he could never get back,
All because of his brother, who then again is dead because of him. But unfortunately, Felix wasn't in the kingdom because he missed his love, he was there because he needed her for something important, but that's not important now.
Adira's footsteps trembled with the earth, she was furious but it didn't last long; she still loved him. It all came flooding back when she saw his face again, his tanned skin, his hair that looked like it was made out of silk, every single hair.
They both couldn't get each other out of their head.Adira fast-walked down the stairs, skipping between every step one. Without looking, her body fell on the ground without gravity's mercy "Hey, Adira are you okay?" A boy came running.
He stooks out his hand when Adira powdered dust off of her new jeans, "No, but thanks for asking.""No problem, what's wrong?" The boy asked, Adira looking at his face and recognized it, Enzo. Adira's eyes began to sparkle, maybe because of the burning hot sun slowly going down, or the look on Enzo's face when she saw his face light up because of her.
"I wasn't looking," Adira ranted, "And then Felix came in my room and," Milo's eyes connected with Adira's with just the word Felix.
"Felix, what was he doing in your room?" Enzo asked with a higher tone of voice, his eyebrows becoming knitted instead of lose like normal."Adira connected her eyes back, looking down and back, "Why do you want to know?" Adira asks, taking a step back. "Adira, tell me please." Milo's hand grabbed her upper arm.
"I don't know, some sort of mission," Adira answered holding her bow tighter."What kind of mission." He kept asking, Adira looked down at his feet, his boots had little spats of mud on them, and then she remembered she still was planning on taking one of the horses on a ride. "Adira, answer me."
"I don't take orders from you." Adira snapped back, pushing his hand off of her arm.She looked away from his glimmering eyes and walked away, for the second time. "Adira stop, you can't go out" Enzo shouted as his hand slowly sank back to his previous position.
"Fuck you!" Adira shouted with her middle finger high up in the air.Enzo's sigh became almost disappointed, but he couldn't force her, it was up to her now what'll happen.
Adira walked into the stables with her head full, full of all the things people have told her today, the Felix situation, Enzo, and the woman that was currently bleeding out on her favorite carpet. She walked inside of the stables, horses neighed that made the stables alive, it placed her mind somewhere else.
She walked down the path, hay laying on the ground slowly blowing away by the wind creeping in. Horses in stables that Adira hadn't noticed before, but since her maid was killed, she had to know to prepare her own horse.
Adira made herself grin a little, the irony of her seeing another horse, after all this time she remember the times she used to have,
The times she met Enzo, or should she say Milo? It made her realize what actually had happened between them, every time the thought crossed her mind it tried to close itself because it connected itself to the thought of Kristoff.
Adira walked down almost all the way to the end, every footstep made its own individual sound as the stones cracked, she saw one of the newer horses, a dark one.
The memory hit her like a train, the horse she used to own, Raven. It all became confused for Adira, the memory loss she had been through,
"I can bring your memory back." Someone said in the distance, Adira turns herself around and sees,
