A/N: Above the screen is a song you could use for certains scenes, I personally like it since it adds more drama. It's very calming music that fits the scenes perfectly. With that being said. . ENJOY!
She lifted it, her boots were sinking into the piles of dirt and ashes, the fire was becoming stronger and quicker as she started walking.
There was a big opening destroyed were the door used to be, but now there was just a big hole made out of cracks and little pieces of wood.
She looked around herself, some were begging for their life, some weren't. But it hadn't mattered, because all Adira wanted was to feel empowered.
It reminded her about her past, pieces of memory flashed through her cramped mind as she stepped over corpses.
Her eyes were piercing through the smoke, and before she knew it she had entered the outside of the castle. She looked around herself, she saw the whole village destroyed and then it hit her.
"Mom! Dad?!" Adira yelled, "You can't leave me!" She was laying on the dirty ground as her whole home had been destroyed, and then she knew, it was only one person's fault.
Kristoff.
Adira blinked a few times as she heard the screaming mixed with her grieving memory, a tear fell on the earth, while big clumps of wind were being thrown by the biggest creatures.
Big wings made out of scales that reflected with the sun, a tail that had to be ten feet, but the head was the most terrifying.
The head had scales that were as sharp as knives, horns that could pierce someone without any remorse.
Eyes that burned like fire, but as soon as they would open their mouth, teeth were as sharp as the horns and the fire breath was even worse. It could destroy anything it wanted.
Even though Adira barely felt scared, this wasn't part of it. The overpowering felt overwhelming, her body filling with adrenaline like her pumping blood. The enchantment of the way the dragons flew like water through the sky, the heavy-lift of air sharpening as the wings were the blades.
Adira started walking to the battle field as clouds brushing away, the destruction became wilder. Swords were being bladed as everyone was paying attention to their enemy, their eyes glued onto one another. Her cloak was slowly dashing through the air as her hair went in sync with it.
Her bow. who now weighted like a feather felt more empowerment as her eyes almost felt like they were on fire.
"Adira darling, what are you doing here?" A familiar man spoke, her head turned to the side with a slight glance.
"Kristoff, it's my fight too." Adira's head turned back, with frowned eyebrows her people were being slaughtered like animals.
"You know that I can't protect you out there." Kristoff's hesitation in his voice made cracks, his heavy iron armor wear and tore with every breath he took.
"I don't need a man to protect me, Kristoff," Adira said, turned herself around while the trees brushed through the air with leaves falling everywhere.
Kristoff walked closer as you could hear the heavy armor brushing against each other, the mud digging into his heavy shoes as his eyes sparkled. "Be careful love." For the first time, a slight bit of remorse filled Adira's heart.
He took his hand and took out a single leave that had fallen onto Adira's hair, he took it out as he brushed his warm fingers against Adira's cheek. He took his raven-colored glove back on.
His sword came out and it shined as you could see the fire breath of the dragons reflecting onto it as the sun did too. He walked away as Adira took a last glance at her fiancé. With a spin Adira faces the horror that was on the battlefield, horses were being slaughtered, men, women.
A part of her felt the slightest of remorse, but her emotions were turning into stone as the fire had destroyed it a long time ago. The man who all started it all, the man who took away her love, family, everything.
It kept spinning into Adira's head, but her surroundings became louder, her pupils began to grow as she saw a big shadow just infront of her. Her eyes flickered more open, she saw it right infront of her, big scales, as big as her head.
It's breath, as warm as fire;
Its eyes were as big as Adira's whole body,
But the most terrifying thing, its teeth were, even more, sharper than anything she had ever seen. Its black scales, its breath was just above her, blowing her hair away with every exhale. But Adira stood still, it was like she was a frozen body, unable to unfreeze.
Its head lowered, the orange eyes were as bright as fire, Adira could see her own reflection like a mirror. It was inspected her like it was that special, she was barely wearing any armor.
Adira moved closer to the glowing-looking eyes and stared at it almost burning through its soul. "You don't scare me," She said, gulping out all of her hesitations "So try me." Its non-existing eyebrows raised as it felt the presence of a brave woman.
Even though Adira felt her heart sank when she said those words, someone came screaming right at her and the now not so calm dragon. Adira turned herself around as smoke began to rise.
"Adira run!" A male screamed as he raised his sword, his heavy armor crushing onto each other as he was ready to attack the ginormous creature.
