As they both sat on the ground full of snow mixed with mud, Adira remained on the dirt as she tried observing the sword she had been keeping with her the entire road trip they've gone through.

She took it out of her sword belt as it shined as bright as it did before they escaped the dwarfs. "What did you think those dwarfs wanted with the sword?" Adira asked as she looked at Milo, while the carriage slowly faded in the distance and the sun completely being up.

"I don't know Alli, maybe they just wanted something shiny." He said, looking back at her. Milo was leaning onto the tree with moss everywhere, and vines along with them.

"Maybe it's special," Adira said with her eyes glued onto the glowing blue sword. He looked at Adira with an intense stare, and back at the sword as he burst out laughing. "That can't be Allison, it's just a sword."

Adira's eyes squeezed together as she looked back at Milo, who couldn't stop laughing. "Whatever," Adira said as she slid her sword back into her leather sword belt.

"We should part ways, it's too dangerous being together," Adira said to Milo as she brushed off the leftover snow and moss onto her leather jeans, standing up with Milo.

"Are you sure? It could still be dangerous, and the dwarfs could always come back, you know." Milo mumbled as he looked down at his leather gloves.

"Milo, they're not, and we'll probably meet again, sometime," Adira said as she looked Milo straight into his eyes, as his eyes, were somewhere completely else.

"You don't want me to go, do you?" Adira looked down at her hands as she couldn't believe she had just said that.

"No no, it's fine." Milo grinned as he looked back at Adira's eyes, her cheeks red as her fingers fidgeted with her ripped clothing.

The silence was ghost quiet, but it was time to part their ways, as Adira turned herself around to Raven, who was searching for grass in the green forest. "See you next time, love," Milo whispered.

Adira's heart froze as she couldn't believe what she had just heard, for the first time someone called her love, and as she turned herself around with her pink cheeks.

"I-" Adira said with a cut as he had vanished into thin air.

Her eyes sank to the ground as she hadn't had the chance to say a proper goodbye, but she knew deep down they were gonna see each other again.

Adira leaned onto her horse as she mounted on Raven, ready to head into the forest, it was in fact too dangerous to be walking on the paths alone since it is bright daylight. The crunching snow sounds slowly faded as the sun melted the last bit of snow away, as for now, you could only see the green grass, and the flowers starting to grow into beautiful colored plants in every corner.

The sun began to rise faster than Adira could tell, as they both began to react slower, and so did her horse after the lack of sleep they were having. Adira had decided they needed a break as she stopped her horse from taking another step, and with that, she mounted off and turned herself around as she patted her horse onto its neck.

She turned herself around again as she began to search for any good tools to camp a night, and at that exact moment she had realized something, but couldn't quickly figure it out, so instead of overthinking it, she started to ignore that gut feeling in the back of her head.

The sun was on the other side of the day as Adira had finally found a perfect spot to sleep for the night. The sunset was beautiful, its lights glimmered through the trees, but even though the animals were dead quiet, she could only hear branches breaking and trees moving from the speedy wind.

The light slowly dimmed as the sun was still there, on the edge of the earth ready to leave the moon be, yet there was less light there was suppose to be, but Adira didn't worry as she still has her sword to protect her when necessary.

Adira hadn't any blankets to keep her warm in the cold nights, but she did have her cloak she kept with her through the days, but it was slightly ripped. As she tried to make herself the most comfortable as possible she sat down on the ground, completely covered in nothing but dirt and some rocks.

She layed on her back as her horse was tied onto one of the many trees in the dark forest, she layed herself onto her back, looking directly up in the sky while the stars slowly appeared.

It looked breathtaking as Adira tried to forget everything playing inside of her head, the grief she was facing, even though she tried her best to ignore it by trying to find a place she could call home. Her cloak was surprised soft as her eyelids slowly became heavier, and eventually just closed.

The sounds of the wind blowing faded as she fell asleep with the glowing sword in her hand, kind of like a sleeping light, to keep the nightmares away. As the sounds around her faded, she heard footsteps, but choose to think it was just the forest trying to scare her.

Even though she tried her absolute best to keep her heavy eyelids shut she had no choice but to open them, her heart beat faster than normal as she immediately sat up with the sword in her hand, ready to attack when she had to.

She stood up as she held the sword with the strongest grip as she saw a man in completely black clothing standing infront of her, holding nothing but a bow and some arrows in a bag. His hands were ready to shoot an arrow when ready.

"Who are you?" Adira said with a firm voice, holding the sword's sharpest point towards the man, he was standing just in front of Adira's horse, as if he wasn't intending to harm Raven.

His posture was weak, as his hands shook while he held the wooden bow. "Answer me!" Adira shouted, and to her surprise, the man gripped the bow tighter as he stood straight, not trying to show any emotion, even though he was failing.

"I finally found you." The man said with a stutter, almost as he was whispering, as Adira lowered her sword, she immediately remembers that voice.
