¹⁴mission completed

Woken up by the sound of footsteps.

As they run around outside your bedroom door, you shift on the mattress, keeping your eyes closed tight. An extreme source of heat is next to your body. You assume it's Dabi since he is always naturally burning hot. When you gradually open your eyes, you are proven right.

Dabi is so close to you. He must have travelled in his sleep. Last night--when you returned from the bathroom--he was fast asleep on his side of the bed, his back facing where you would lay down. Because of his personality type you didn't expect him to be considerate enough to make you feel comfortable sleeping with him. He even kept his clothes on, something you didn't expect him to do because of how warm a body can get during the night. You were worried he might overheat. However, when you tried to wake him up he simply groaned and pushed you away.

Now his sweltering arm is draped over your stomach. The villain is curled up on his side and you are laying on your back. His forehead is on top of your chest.

You groan, "Get up, Dabi."

The man moves off of you as soon as he realizes where he is. Rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand, he sits up on the bed.

Dabi rasps, "What the fuck is all that noise?"

"I don't know but it woke me up." You shrug.

Standing up, you grab your mask then open the bedroom door to walk outside. Up the hall you see Toga and Annie squealing together happily. When they notice you, you wave.

"Good morning Ito. Good morning Toga."

"Good morning!" They say in unison before Annie speaks with a smile, "How was your sleep?"

"Could have been better. Dabi made the bed too warm."

"Oh shut it." Said male mumbles, emerging from the bedroom.

"Well Shigaraki is looking for you and Dabi so he can explain your mission tonight. He's at the bar waiting for you!"

"Thanks Ito." You smile, ignoring Dabi's groan. You grab his arm and tug him towards where Shigaraki is supposed to be.

"I don't want to talk to that ash cake first thing in the morning."

You yawn, "Relax. We have something important to get done. It will be our first time on an actual mission together. We can't fuck it up."

That night you and Dabi stroll together, looking for the building with the address Shigaraki gave you a few hours prior. Surprisingly the destination is only three minutes away from the bar. The block you're walking on is nearly deserted and a car would only drive down the street every few minutes.

Every time Dabi hears a car get close behind you he'd tug you into his side so the vehicle could pass.

Today honestly wasn't a very interesting day.

Shigaraki took the Takahashi twins to do some kind of side mission they wouldn't explain to the rest of the group. The only thing everyone else knew was that Shigaraki was planning on doing something that would test their quirks out.

Dabi spent his whole day sitting on a tattered couch with a cigarette in his hand and scrolling through his phone. Emiko sat next to him silently reading a book, looking as unapproachable as she normally does.

Annie, Twice, and Toga went out to go shopping, which could only mean that they were planning to steal, "experimenting" with Annie's super speed quirk.
