A sudden noise startles you out of your sleep later that night.

At first, you can't tell if your mind is playing tricks on you. The banging noise you heard was loud but there was a long silent pause before it came again. Still trying to fully wake up, you can't tell where the noise is coming from but it's make your heart race. Realizing that Dabi is asleep next to you makes you relax a bit though. His arm is holding you down to the mattress, his light snoring going directly into your ear.

Having a murderer near you right now is extremely comforting, despite how ironic it sounds.

As more and more noises come from somewhere in the house you quickly start hitting your boyfriend's bare back repeatedly.

His eyes slowly open to look at you. His voice is deep and slurred as he asks, "Why are you waking me up?"

"Sorry to wake you but I keep hearing noises."

"You disturbed my rest just to tell me that?" He holds your body tighter in his arms and snuggles his head into your chest, getting into a comfortable position to drift back into dreamland. "Go back to sleep. It's probably just something happening outside."

You hit his back again to keep him awake. "No, Touya. It sounds like someone's banging on a door. It's quiet now but I swear I heard something earlier."

He rolls his eyes. "What the fuck do you want me to do about that?"

"Geez, you can be so grouchy sometimes." You huff, sliding your body out from under his hold, grabbing your robe to cover your naked body. "I need to pee I'll be back."

"Whatever." He mumbles, already falling back to sleep.

Walking through the house you take a moment to investigate the place before you go to the bathroom to relive your bladder. Everything is calm, but in a strangely eerie way.

However you decide that you're probably just paranoid and you take a deep breath to calm yourself down.

Once you're done urinating you tiredly drag your feet back up to your bedroom, prepared to go to sleep and get enough rest for the hectic night you'll have tomorrow.

You're still not mentally prepared for what's to come but you have no choice other than forcing yourself to be ready. Earlier in the night Dabi did everything he could to take some stress off of you. The jokes he made as you ate together definitely did just that, but you can still feel something heavy in your heart.

Everything feels like it's happening way to soon.

You didn't even get to fully train your quirks.

When you reach your bedroom a loud scream erupts from your throat.

Through the darkness you can see someone standing near your dresser that isn't your boyfriend.

The silhouette of the person depicts it to be a man though, but because they are wearing all black clothing and a huge hood over their head you can't see who it is. Dabi immediately sits up on the bed when he hears the noise you made before his eyes try to clearly see who's the shadowy figure you're looking at.

The intruder turns around and begins to dash straight for the open window he came through, but you refuse to let him escape. A hole opens in the skin of your arm before shooting straight at the man and wrapping around his neck.
