two weeks later
"Where is Ryu!? We need him, now!"
Emiko screams, blindly shooting into the darkness of the factory, using one of the guns you created.
Annie races to her side to grab a man that was preparing to attack. The male lets out a long loud screech of agony when his body gets thrown into a scrap metal shredder. The way his limbs all get ripped apart is gruesome, yet you can't help but pause from clearing shadows to stare at the mutilated corpse in interest. Pools of blood splattered all over the shredder.
"That's pretty hardcore, Ito." You snicker, giving her a first bump.
She giggles as her cheeks turn a dark red. Her first stays connected to yours for an extended time.
"Thanks, Shadow."
You sigh and start shooting paralyzing bullets at a group of people barreling through the front door to strike.
The past two weeks have been.... eventful.
About two days after you spoke to Emiko, Shouto started to go do hero work again. He has been acting more distant lately. You can't remember the last time he spoke to you, or even sent a glance in your direction. That was your goal when you said all those things to him on the street so it didn't effect you much.
Truthfully, even though you don't have any problems with Shigaraki, you don't want to speak to him yet. Right now you are disassociating from most people.
You haven't spoken to any of the Todoroki family since your fake parents funeral, which was held a week after their death. The fact that the number nine hero's wife recently lost her parents was strictly kept secret by Endeavor. Only you and the Todoroki's attended the funeral. But honestly, nobody truly cared about your fake mom and dad.
Natsuo had stayed by your side during the wedding. He knew that you never had a decent relationship with the deceased. Because of that, he didn't bother asking how you felt about their deaths.
Natsuo has always been a respectful man. He showed up to keep you relaxed, even though he never liked them. He refrained from telling jokes and would occasionally hold your hand in a spot Shouto-who was sitting on the other side of you-couldn't see.
You barely spoke to him that day.
But you have to admit, seeing Natsu in a suit made your entire day better.
The last time you had a chat with any of the League members, other than the new recruits, was before you went back to Shouto's house.
But, you truly miss Dabi a bit.
It seems like his somewhat annoying personality was starting to grow on you before you left. And because of the way he killed your fake parents, dealing with your issue for you in a way only he can, it would be an understatement to say you only like him. You are more than thankful for the villain. All because he gave your life the excitement it dreadfully lacked.
Only four days ago was when you began to help out the recruits. The war between the Rouge Alliance and League is still going on. Emiko came to your house when your husband wasn't home and told you that she was in charge of taking down the smaller organizations under Rouge; along with the help of Annie, Ryu, and Rin. Because of the way Shouto was spending more time at his office and giving you extended free time, you decided to help them out with their fights.
