Walking into your own home, your demeanor is blank.
A dangerous calm before the storm.
To think, you admired Endeavor at a certain point in your life. There's no way you can even force yourself to have a pinch of respect for that man after what you just found out. How dare he even call himself a hero? He murdered your mother, brutally burnt her to ashes in front of her husband's tear-filled eyes. Seems more like something a deranged villain would do. But it's Endeavor, the man who doesn't care about his own kids. It shouldn't be shocking that he doesn't care about a couple strangers-who happened to be your parents. And that's the guy who is the number one hero?
That says a lot about this hero society.
For what reason? Why did Enji show up at your childhood home in the first place? Just because he wanted to find out if Itsuki and Hana have a child?
The memories revealed to you didn't explain exactly why the heroes were so interested in your family's life. But, clearly, it was because of the quirk you received from your father. The one you wish had been explained with more detail.
"Your quirk, the one that gave you wings, is not as normal as it seems. I can't go into detail about it because you'll have to figure it out on your own, but just know that you have the potential to be stronger than everyone else on this messed-up planet. Maybe even stronger than me."
If only your father had just explained the details of your quirk. Whatever it is, it must be incredibly powerful.
Do I even deserve that kind of power?
It could be dangerous in the wrong hands... and I'm a villain...
My dad seemed to not let the strong quirk feed into his ego.
Maybe I won't let it either.
Then the first memory wipe. Seriously? The Hero Public Safety Commission allowed Endeavor to chose for them give you a memory wipe. What even was the purpose for the first one? The second one at least made sense as to why they did it.
The people you've been calling "mom" and "dad" aren't even your real parents. They're just some random strangers Endeavor chose to be your guardians until he could figure out what to do with you.
Hell, your life could've been normal if Endeavor hadn't intervened. You had two caring parents, a calm household, and a friend.
Tomura Shigaraki... Tenko Shimura...
Did he know who you were when you explained your quirk to him? Is that why he reacted so strangely in the beginning?
It's all too much to handle. Yet somehow your emotions aren't going berserk like they were when you first found out the truth. They are not present in your body at the moment. Your entire being only feels numb.
It's all thanks to Dabi and Emiko that you learned the truth. If Emiko hadn't touched you to erase the effect of the memory quirk then you still wouldn't have known about your early life. And Dabi was the one who got her to join the League Of Villains in the first place.
"You should know that there's another girl I'm going to introduce before you. I think you'll really like her quirk later on."
How did they know that you had your memory erased? Who knows. You'll focus on figuring that out after you deal with Endeavor at the dinner tomorrow night.
You lie back on your bed, taking a slow deep breath. You had tossed your mask and outfit into the back of your closet. After checking through the entire house to make sure everything looks the same from before Dabi arrived, you ended up here. Curled up on your mattress with your pillow held close to your chest. The room is completely dark. The stars outside shine down into the room through the window. That source of light is enough to give the bedroom a calm blue glow.
