As soon as Dabi reaches the basement, Alannah approaches him quickly and grabs his shoulders to hold herself up before she passes out.

Her arms are bloody, bruised, and scorched with ice burns. Each mark leaves evidence that she put up a strong fight against Shouto and Enji, but inevitably lost. The two heroes didn't hold back during their battle with her at all. The doors to the cages that both heroes were once stuck inside have been forced up. Fire badly burnt the metal of both cages.

Dabi has no idea how they were able to escape but he doesn't have time to ask.

He asks Alannah, too focused on the goal of fighting his father to care that the woman is touching him, "Where did they fucking go?"

"Tunnel... behind Endeavor's cage." She says breathlessly.

Dabi immediately ducks into the tunnel to run after his father and brother. Spiders, insects, and other hideous creatures are surrounding him. The dirt that the surprisingly wide tunnel is carved into thick dirt and mud is raining into his hair and getting into his eyes. But his blood is pumping. His adrenaline is going so fast he feels like he could fly right now if he really wanted to. The moment is getting closer, he's mere seconds away from seeing the horrified look on his fathers face when he reveals his true identity.

But, at the back of his mind, he's so worried about you that he has to force his feet to keep moving forward. All he can do is hope that you don't get hurt nor killed until he comes back to find you.

If you do... no, he doesn't even want to think about it.

All he wants to think about is his father's reaction to reuniting with his son. Because, at this moment, he's completely ready to let go of his past and get over his underlying obsession with Enji. So he can finally live forever carefree, strangle-free, with you.

Meanwhile, you're huffing and puffing, barely able to feel your legs and ready to collapses onto the concrete of the cracking roof. You just took down the number ten hero, Uravity just by wrapping a chain around her waist when she began to float and yanking her down onto the concrete roof. It was a bit disappointing though. She didn't stand a chance against your quirk, and she made the mistake of trying to float away to get heroes to help her.

However, you can't tell if she's dead or not.

The mask Kenji put on your face to hide it is limiting your breathing even more.

Kenji is standing next to you, also breathing heavily but looking extremely excited about the opponent standing in front of him, unlike you. When you woke up from your trance he was the first person you saw, and he explained what he did to make you black out. He's definitely going to get yelled at by you once this is over because he dragged you into this mess when you clearly didn't want to be apart of it, but you can't focus on that right now.

The woman in front of you is the last person you want to fight, but because you were dragged into this fight by your own backstabbing brother there's no way you can escape.

Now there's two heroes facing you on the roof, one of them being a certain bunny-like woman that you was hoping would meet her daughter at least once before getting killed, and the other being a red-haired male. Kenji is using his quirk to keep the redhead in a trance while Miruko has all her focus on you.

The bunny is smiling. "Hey, villain. I remember you, you was on the bridge at Tartarus! You already look tired, dear. Why aren't you fighting me back? Too scared or something?"

Miruko laughs loudly while jumping high in the air to attempt tackling you down to the ground. Both heroes have quirk-restraining handcuffs prepared and attached to their utility belt so only one wrong move and you'll risk going to jail.
