"George!" Dream laughed, smiling as a small pillow fight was occurring.

It had been a week since their arrival at Foolish's log cabin and as he'd predicted, both George and Dream were in much better condition. Dream's wound was still in bad shape, not yet scaring over as his bandages were replaced with new in order to prevent infection, but it was well enough to the point where he could travel far enough in the nether. On the other hand, George's state had also improved. Now, the brunette could walk, even if it was slower and delayed, it would be enough for their departure home.

And now, the two were lightly hitting each other with pillows. Yes, they probably should've been taking it easy, but a little fun never hurt anyone.

"Surrender!" George yelled, clearly having the upper hand by the fact he could more easily use both arms while the other was careful to only use one.

"Never!"

Dream swung his pillow towards the brunette's head, knocking him down onto the bed opposite the pillow. George rested there, staring at the ceiling as Dream moved closer, his head hovering a few feet above the other's.

"Hi," George smiled.

"Hey."

Ever since they'd fallen asleep in each other's embrace, they'd become instantly more comfortable with each other, as if the mention of a few emotions unlocked the gate to an eternity of others.

And with that opening key, the physical and figurative mask had lowered between the two.

They still had no idea what they were actually feeling, as they could only put it into broken sentences that barely made complete sense, but they equally knew they wanted to continue. George just wanted to explore with Dream. There were so many things the brunette hadn't experienced for himself, and the thought made him excited to participate when the time came.

Whatever they were was something they didn't really want to define. After talking more about the matter, the two of them had agreed to let whatever happens, happen. They wanted it to be natural and almost second nature.

George would never get tired of those viridescent eyes.

A knock at the door made Dream flinch as he hurried to fix the mask to his face. While he'd been comfortable showing his appearance to George, and Sapnap who'd already seen it, the same couldn't be said for the other two people occupying the cabin. Once it was secured, the door opened and they were met with karl.

"Hey!" He smiled before transitioning to a more relaxed but serious expression, "If you guys are free, there was something weird with the materials that dropped with the Bane."

"Is something wrong with the eye?" George asked. He had completely forgotten about the entire reason they'd fought: to get the Bane's eye.

"Not really wrong, just a little concerning factor."

George stood with considerable ease compared to his progress from a week ago. It was still rusty, and he walked slower than the other two in order to keep his balance, but he was determined to get to his former strength.

Once the trio made their way out of Dream's room and towards the kitchen, they saw Sapnap sitting on one of the chairs with a look of curiosity.

Upon reaching the table, Dream noticed the piece of paper with bizarre lettering.

"Is this what's weird?" He asked, pointing towards the paper.

"Yeah," Sapnap responded, clicking a pen that was resting in his hand, "I can't make out what it says."
