George awoke to the sounds of hushed conversation. He could only make out certain words, but he heard Dream's voice among many. The male took a second to appreciate the warmth, a feeling he didn't remember before. It was comforting. George decided this was his favorite feeling, snuggling within a blanket as he debated getting up, dreading the cool air that he already noticed was biting at his nose.

His eyes fluttered open to be greeted with a wooden board. He looked further down, noticing a ladder and indicating that he was sleeping in the bottom of a bunk bed. The walls were built with fancy chiseled stone while the floor was built of smooth stone, a dark green carpeted rug detailed the floor, providing a source of comfort and making it feeling more like a home. The door to the room was cracked, letting a small sliver of light into the room and revealing multiple different pieces of furniture. A desk was at the bottom of the bunk bed as pictures littered the wall, containing unknown people. There was one shiny, dark axe hanging from the wall, seeming as though it was special from the rest. There were no windows, leading George to suspect that they were underground, mainly with the use of stone.

George exited the comfy blankets, noticing Dream's coat, which smelled faintly of pine, was still wrapped around him. He opened the door and saw other rooms positioned evenly throughout the hall, almost like a hotel. Peeking around the corner, he saw people enveloped around a table. There were only three in the room: Dream, a man with a pig mask, and the other male who found him; he was pretty sure his name was Sapnap. He felt awkward and didn't exactly know how to introduce his presence, so he decided to listen instead.

"How can we trust him?" The taller, salmon haired man asked. He seemed serious as his monotone voice rang through the silence, making George more nervous than he was before.

"He couldn't even remember his name," Dream defended.

"That means nothing," The man laughed, finding the situation amusing, to him, nothing was more important than his family. He'd vowed to get to their promised paradise. He wasn't going to let their efforts go to waste by trusting a stranger, "This is insane. Not a single person has been brought here without any memories whatsoever. Now some random boy appears, claiming that he forgets everything and you blindly trust him? Even then, he didn't awake at spawn point."

"What are you saying, Technoblade?" Dream questioned.

"What I'm saying is that he could be a spy for The Evolved, an act that'll allow them information to stop us."

George cringed. He was completely lost. He didn't understand a thing that was being said, only slightly picking up the main points. Somehow, George was different, making him ultimately suspicious. People always fear the unknown, including George, who was starting to become afraid of himself and his circumstances.

"He still has all his lives. Someone with only one would be apart of The Evolved," Dream countered.

"You know there are ways to bypass that, even if they are difficult."

"Why would they send a spy who was selectively suspicious, and much less spawned in a completely random location? They know that we're smart, they know that we would be suspicious. If they wanted to send in a spy, the smartest move would be to send a child in need, someone that we couldn't turn away," Dream reasoned, clearly believing that George wasn't a spy. The masked male appreciated Techno's opinions and views, but he felt certain, caused by his gut feeling, that George wasn't lying. No one could fake the emotions that come with amnesia.

George was unsure of what to do. He was getting more and more nervous with every passing second, his heart pounding in his chest as he stood listening within the tense atmosphere. He also didn't want to get caught and give them another reason to think of him as a spy, so he made his presence known.
