"Woah!" Ranboo stared in awe, "What is that?"

George smiled at the young boy's curiosity as he drew the bane's eye in his journaling diary.

"You know how we went on that big scary mission for like, a couple of weeks?"

Ranboo paused, flipping through his notes. George remembered the memory problems he was plagued with at random occurrences, especially when he was stressed. The whole reason for the note-booking was his failure to recall certain events.

"Wait," he considered, "The one to the nether? With Phil?"

"Yeah," George listed the other people in the mission group, "This is from the monster assigned in our tasks."

The child grabbed his colored pencils, lightly dusting the color of the eye, "It has a really cool red shade."

"Mhm. Don't forget the purple."

Creaking signaled another presence climbing up the treehouse. The wounded group had gotten back yesterday, greeting everyone and introducing them to Foolish. Technoblade had promised a meeting after a day of needed rest and life within the Stronghold seemed to return to its weird idea of normal.

"Ranboo!" A voice yelled from the ladder as the other kid carefully ascended the planks.

When his brown hair was present, along with his face not much after, Ranboo smiled.

"Hey, Tubbo."

George grinned. It seemed like during his absence, the two boys had gotten closer.

Tubbo gave a little wave to George, "Wanna go check up on Michael?"

"Who's Michael?" George asked.

"He's our adopted son," Ranboo cheerfully explained.

"What?"

"He's my son," Ranboo repeated, looking like the typical proud father.

George laughed at his antics.

"Ahhhww," Tommy complained from the ground, "Can you guys stop being so wholesome?"

Tubbo only laughed, Ranboo following him down the ladder with his diary in his pocket.

George looked off the edge, "Be careful guys."

"Okay, Gogy," Tommy replied, emphasizing the separate syllables.

He heard the others giggle, walking out of the underground forest area.

Before they got so far, Ranboo looked back, "I'm glad you're doing better George!"

"Thank you!"

George turned back, observing the nature around him.

After letting his thoughts run rampant, he climbed down the latter himself, walking further down towards the training area.

It seemed he was all alone, Dream attending to his leading duties with Technoblade and Sapnap somewhere unknown with Karl.

And it wasn't that he felt uncomfortable or that eyes were watching him. He just wished he wasn't left alone to the silence of his own company. It felt eerie.

Or maybe it was the letter that replayed in his mind. There was a traitor among their ranks. Being alone was dangerous.

Yet the brunette continued to draw his bow. He needed the training to re-strengthen his muscles.

A broken twig alerted his senses, startling him as he turned, steadying his bow in the direction of the breakage.

When he realized it was only Foolish with hands up in a non-threatening way, he lowered the weapon.
