The first thing George saw was the mask as he heard small laughs escape Sapnap. Dream had his pillows positioned in a way that allowed him to lean against the cushioned wall as he engaged in conversation. When the two walked in, the blonde did a double-take.

"George?" Dream asked.

Dream's previous alertness in his actions was gone. It was obvious that he wasn't in the best condition at all, vulnerable in his recuperating state.

"Hey," the brunette gave a vibrant smile as he struggled to make his way towards Dream. With Sapnap occupying the other chair, he sat at the end of the bed.

"Are you okay?" The more prominently wounded questioned with concern.

"His entire body, specifically his muscles, has been strained from paralysis," Foolish answered for them, "By his last attempts to preserve your life just long enough for help to arrive, his ability to fight, even move, has been limited until he goes through the proper physical training to regain the strength."

"In other words," George summarized, "I'm going to be okay."

A smile formed under the blonde's mask. As long as George was okay, he could relax more without stress.

"The next part," Sapnap offered, "Is finding a way to get home as quickly as possible."

"How are we going to do that?" George asked.

"While you've been asleep for the past couple of days, the rest of our team has started digging in the nether. After we told Technoblade about the events that have occurred, he informed us that distance in the nether is shorter than in our world. Because of that, if we travel far enough, we can get home almost eight times faster," Karl answered.

"Really?" Dream was surprised.

"Isn't it dangerous," George inquired.

"It is, however, with Sam's redstone devices, he can spot possible threats through temperatures. If it's a monster, their body temperature will be colder than the room temperature of the nether. And, if it's lava, the temperature will be slightly hotter. Because of that, they can detect where the best places to dig are."

"So how long until we can go back?" Dream asked curiously.

Foolish interrupted, "You and George aren't going anywhere until you can both walk."

"How long is that?"

"At least a couple of days longer. Possibly for a week or two. And that doesn't even include if George will be able to regain his muscle strength."

"I'll be able to," George responded, determined.

"We can talk more about this later," Foolish decided, "I'm going to cut some wood for the fire."

"Do you need help?" Karl asked.

"If you want, I'd appreciate it if you and Sapnap went hunting for food."

"Okay," Sapnap nodded in agreement, "You want to stay in here and talk to Dream for a bit?"

"Yeah," George answered.

"We'll be back later."

Foolish lead the others out of the room to prepare for their assigned work, "Don't do something that'll worsen your physical condition."
