While the ground was still snowy and the atmosphere cold, George was no longer bothered by it. He was protected, and not just by the pine green coat of his friend, but by the people themselves.

Two days had passed. The majority of the time was spent on training or finding items that would trigger the brunette's memories.

"George," Dream whispered, grabbing the attention of the shorter male, "Deer at eleven o'clock."

Turning his head left, George did indeed see the animal. He prepped his bow, an action that had been repeated multiple times before during practice. He didn't want to kill the animal, even if it was necessary for their survival.

George pictured his peaceful moment. Lining up the bow, he shot; a life taken to benefit his own wellbeing.

All three remained quiet, walking over to the animal. They knelt and George found himself looking away from the arrow. He didn't want to see the damage. Instead, he looked into the animal's eyes, petting its fur within the last seconds of life. After the eyes showed no signs of life, George wrapped it within a blue material and placed it within the sleigh.

While Sapnap and Dream both proceeded further, checking the traps they set, George paid his respects in a small whisper. "Thank you."

As they continued through the area, the other two seemed to realize George's sadness. They too hated to take the life of another animal but being stuck in that routine for so long made them used to the action.

By the end of the day, they'd gotten a sustainable amount and the sun was starting to set, ushering the group to end their mission.

"Let's go," Dream decided, "It is getting dark."

They'd be walking for a while, accompanied by Sapnap's never-ending sass which always made the two laugh. By the time they'd gotten back, they could see the glow of lights from their base.

When they arrived, Technoblade was waiting for them.

"You're here, good. I've got everyone waiting in the meeting room," Technoblade's voice was as serious as ever.

"Okay," Dream said as the door mechanically shifted open. George had seen it when they left but it still bewildered him how one man could manipulate a material to work with just precision.

As they walked in, another person took the sleigh so that the group could get there faster. As George observed the faces around the room, he noticed that everyone from before was here, plus a couple of additions. One of which sat next to Sam and looked familiar. As much as he tried to remember where he had recognized that face from, he couldn't. It felt like hazily waking up in the morning and knowing you had a dream but not remembering what it was no matter how many times you tried. George knew it was someone he'd once known but he couldn't remember how. And he was starting to get a headache. All of this was going through his mind as he sat down next to Dream.

"Is everyone here?" Technobade asked. He was at the head of the table and by now George had realized that he was the leader, one hidden behind Dream's lead.

Everyone gave a nod and the pig masked-man continued, "If you haven't met him already, here is George," he pointed at the brunette who cringed at the attention. He glanced at each person's face, noticing a couple hesitant. "We also have another new member. Meet Halo." Halo had brown hair with a coated hood upon his head. He waved before Technoblade continued.

"There will be more on George's situation later. For now, I have information on the next steps for our assigned mission." Some of the people in the room got tense. "In attempts to sabotage our efforts, The Evolved have intensely searched for clues on the next boss. What they found was the need for wither skulls."
