Esteban
"We had a meeting with the presidente but James and I came separately, under the premise you would be there Esteban." James explained, trying to calm me down. I had just stormed off the stage in a fit once I heard te news from that reporter in the crowd.
"I mean you don't deny a lunch invitation from the Presidente." Julio cheesed. James hit his shoulder before turning back to me. "He offered us a proposal to start a new team without you and we denied it. Simple"
I glared at them both before biting on my cheek. I didn't know who to believe. I knew my amigos would never lie to me, but the proof seemed too blatant.

Anais
I stood from my seat in the front of the room and ran back stage, trying my hardest to find Esteban.
I came into a crowded hallway before walking upon a door with two men guarding it. I tried to walk though it but they stopped me abruptly. "Ma'm, only press and family are allowed back here"
"Move! I'm with Esteban La Renta" I scoffed, annoyed at their lack of respect for my title.
They ignored me still until Victor came behind me, showing off his badge.
"She's in the La Renta party" he announced. The men looked at Victor's badge before looking at me and opened the door, finally allowing me in.I see Esteban yelling at his teammates, furious at their betrayal. James and Julio look just as confused as Esteban as they tried to explain. They tried to talk some sense into Esteban, but he refused.
"Esteban you think we would do that! The presidente probably leaked the story to the tabloids." James yelled, trying to remind Esteban of their loyalty.
"Really?" Esteban scoffed. "So what's this?" He shoved a wrinkled newspaper into James's hand. It was a picture of James and Julio at the presidente's house in the hills. It looked like someone had probably passed it to Esteban while he stormed off the stage.
"Esteban he invited us over. Of course we wouldn't reject his invitation. We thought you were coming but he said you couldn't make it" Julio explained again, pulling the paper from Esteban and crumbling it.
"He offered us the deal to start a new team but we flat out refused. What use is El Niños without our friend. We stayed and chatted but left once the meeting was done" James explained.
Esteban calmed down a little bit before staring at me. I know he didn't want to blame me but it seemed like the only feasible option was that.
"Esteban..." I whispered, trying to find the right words to say.
"That bastar*d!!! The only reason he's doing this is because of jealously!!
He tried to force himself on Anais" Esteban cursed, walking over to where I stood. He held me in his arms before kissing my forehead."What?" James and Julio fumed, looking over at me. They were more disappointed than suprised.
"We know the presidente and his lust for women but we didn't think he would stoop this low!" James fumed.
"That's your livelihood Esteban?" Julio seethed.
"Don't you think I know that?" Esteban retorted, pushing a palm against his temple. I could tell he was stressed by the whole thing.
Hector came over and fumed, looking to the three men. "L'épaule and Augua Fresco just pulled out their sponsorship"
"Fu**k!" Esteban fumed, pushing his hands over his head.
