bliss station ~ poetry

as if I lived in the language of animal elements

a frog in a green scene

a spider on eight eyelashes

pomfrets promise like upturned palms

storks over treetops like trainwhistles

ibises frisk their dandelion bodies

whitethroats alliterate anchovies

a fat lizard is / is a fat lizard

a happy creature

mosquito bath

wet with white spiderwebs

breadcrumbs wear pigeons

wildcats leap three chicks in jaws

gazelles drink without table manners

crows echo torch by torch

leafminers trace labyrinths of unknown countries

pelicans sink & surface like drunk boats

an eagle flaps once to prove gravity

a flycatcher in a blue of its own

if we could like two salmons return to spawn

to be mayfly

to jellyfish
