Chapter 39: The Among Us Project

Opening her eyes, she adjusted by the lights first before sitting up from her cylinder where she lie down.

When she finally processed everything around her, she flinched when the room was suddenly filled with claps and cheering from Bigbang, Exo and Hyung-suk himself. They're all surrounding her while smirking.

"Congratulations Lisa, you made it." Hyung-suk said as he gestures his agents to stop. "You killed all of them and you survived. You're already promoted!" He said acting like he's really proud while smiling widely.

Lisa didn't mind him as she's busy looking at the other cylinder beds where all of her friends and her girlfriend is still laying down at.

"Did I fail?" She thought worriedly.

"Ohh, them?" Hyung-suk asked when he saw Lisa looking at the cylinders. "Don't mind them, you killed them so... Why worry about them right?" He asked then chuckle. "Lisa, lisa, lisa." He walk over Irene's cylinder and caress the glass. "If only you listened to me to just shut up and be a good girl, it won't happen. Aren't you guilty? A lot of people died because of you; Doyeon, Shindong, Mijoo, Yugyeom and oh! Have I told you that I asked my agents to get the rest of the Got7 members? I don't want them to be left behind."

It caught Lisa's attention as she snap her head to Hyung-suk who laugh loudly because of her reaction.

"You really resemble your father's features." He said then drop his smile. "And that's just one of the things that I hate about you." He then walk to the other cylinder. "Chitthip, your whore of a mother who left me just to go with your father? How stupid."

"That's not true!" Lisa snap as she knows what really happened.

"Oh?" Hyung-suk act surprised.

"You kidnapped my mother just because she doesn't want you! You hide me and her from my father!" She shouted as tears burn the back of her eyes.

"Very, very well." Hyung-suk said while smirking. "Your father have been trying to find you but I'm sorry, I won't let you have your happy life especially you're the reason why Chitthip don't want to be with me. And oh! You're also the reason why she died!"

Lisa didn't respond as she's just glaring at him.

"Ohh, are you angry? Cry Lisa, CRY! I want to see you crying because you killed all of them and you can't have a normal life! CRY!"

"If you hate me that much, why didn't you just kill me?"

"Because it's not fun! I want to see you crying and suffering. I want to see you to just want to die because there's no life in this world for you."

"Are you going to kill me?"

"It's not my job. You'll understand later."

"So I'll still die?"

Hyung-suk look at her in irritation. He want to see Lisa being scared and weak but it's the opposite, she looks confident despite having no choice.

"Before I die, can you answer my question that's on my mind since the very first day?" Lisa asked so he look at her confused. "I've been trying to do research about the Among Us project but can you just explain it to me instead? What's the real purpose of that and why did you create this?"

Hyung-suk chuckle then shake his head. He's very impressed in Lisa's confidence and courage.

"Well then, your wish is my command." He sit down at the chair for more comfortable position before looking at Lisa. "I've been adopting orphans to train them and make them one of the most outstanding living person in the world. I've been giving them opportunities to have a good and luxurious life, to learn how to defend and fight for themselves. All of my agents is smart and classy." Then his smile dropped.

"But after everything that I've done they still want to leave? I won't let that happen." He said seriously that made Lisa confused. "The Bigbang is my first group that brings name to my agency, they did really well and I treat them as my real sons, I gave them everything they ask for but everything changed when they told me they want to leave and have a normal life outside. That's when I came up with this idea." He spread his arms widely. "The Among Us Project."

"SuperJunior was the next one to tell me that they want to live a normal life as well, so I put all of them in here together with Bigbang. I know you've heard of the perks that you'll get once you survived; You can live outside and be promoted so they really did their best to survive. Jiyoung was the impostor and he's doing great but he got really mad when all of his members got lynched so he killed them brutally but Shindong saw him and lynch him. Everyone who died in the project, will be controlled because they believed that they died. Their consciousness is not theirs anymore. The nerve gear that you used to enter the Among Us Project will do the work and for those who survived will stay in their own mind. Heechul, Siwon and Shindong is the ones who survived but guess what? They still stayed in here." Hyung-suk said then paused.

"Because of this project, I will have loyal pets and they will stay with me forever!" And he laugh like a maniac.

"What does it feel to fail after trying so hard?" He asked then smirk. "You're in my game since the very first day Lisa, I'm the game master of this so there's no way that you can win in this game that I created." He gestures his agents to open the cylinders that they quickly did. "Now it's the time to do the real game." He smirk while Lisa just look at her friends who's still inside the cylinders.

"They're all controlled and their very first rule is to be loyal and honest with me." He said the same time that they all sat up. "Now, now, my loyal agents. I want you all to kill Lisa." He said and smirk.

Lisa widen her eyes when they all look at her. Tears started forming in her eyes while looking at them.

"Stop trying to be the hero Lisa. This is my game." Hyung-suk said and stand up to walk towards Bigbang and Exo.

"This will going to be fun." Suho said and cross his arms.

Other agents started giving Lisa's friends gun one by one.

"You keep on protecting everyone since the very first day. Now... How will you protect yourself if the ones you're protecting is the ones who's going to kill you?" Hyung-suk asked while looking at them as if it's the most entertaining show he ever watched.

"Accept the fact that you lose." He look at Lisa. "Agents! Kill her!"

Lisa's tears started streaming down her face while looking at her girlfriend.

"Did I really lose?"
