Chapter 40: Outstanding Trust

"Agents! Kill her!" Hyung-suk shouted as they all look at Lisa.

The Thai just stared at them one by one to wait for the gunshots to pierce through her skin. She close her eyes and then...

"Bitch, why would we do that?" Tzuyu asked confused that made Lisa and Hyung-suk shock.

The girls look at each other and realized that they have a gun so they started shooting Exo and Bigbang who quickly duck and cover Hyung-suk as they exchange fires with them.

"Lisa," Irene pull her girlfriend down to hide.

"Run! Go! Go! Go!" The other girls shouted while still shooting to cover them up.

Then... The alarm rang.

"I got a lot of sleep so back off!" Jeongyeon shouted as she shoot the three agents that's about to run towards their direction.

"Bulls eyes." Jisoo said when she successfully shot the man at the end of the hallway using the pin in her hair.

"Faster! Faster!" Jennie shouted when she saw that there's more agents approaching them.

It's their first time in this place so they don't know where's the exit. They just keep on running and fighting the agents who's trying to stop them.

And then it kicked in to Lisa's head.

"Wait!" She stopped running that made the other girls to stop too. "I-I need to find something in this place."

"Lisa, it's not the right time to---"

"I really need to do it. Please." Lisa cutted Jennie off. "I saw a file from the security room, it's about a huge room where there's a lot of holograms in there. I need to find that room to shut the system down and stop everything. I mean, t-the Among Us project that have been controlling---" she stopped when she felt a hand on her arm as if telling her to calm down.

"We know. We heard everything earlier." Seulgi said then remove her hand from Lisa's. "I badly need an explanation after this." She said then shoot the agent behind Lisa that's about to aim his gun.

"Let's go!" Irene grab Lisa's hand and was about to run.

"Lisa!" Seulgi called her. "I also want to apologize." She said sincerely that made Lisa smile.

"You're forgiven." And with that, they all run to hide at one of the storages.

"Quick! Come on!" Tzuyu and Jeongyeon look around to make sure that no one followed them before locking the door.

They gather around to talk about their exit plan.

"Are you sure that the hologram room is inside this place?" Mina asked.

"I don't know, but I can feel it." Lisa answered truthfully. "I mean, it's really important because once someone found it, his hardwork to build it will go to waste so he will make sure to keep it away from the agents and this place is hidden and this is also the place where the Among Us project is working so there's a high chance that the room is also here."

"Makes sense." Jisoo said.

"So I need to go to any possible room---"

"Wait, wait, wait!" Yeri suddenly cutted Lisa off that made them all to look at her. "I'm still processing what happened. I'm still processing my death that I've experienced earlier and now I'm fvcking confused." She said, messing her hair.

"Yeri, we don't have time to---"

"No." Mina cutted Irene off. "I also want answers. At least lighten us up?" She look at Lisa. "If we're killed in the game then, why aren't we controlled?" She asked that made some of them to nod their head.
