Chapter 2: Irene

A beautiful trainee with the age of 10 is walking down the hallway when she heard a loud crying that's echoing through the corridor. She tried to find who's crying until she saw a blonde kid who's cutely rubbing her eyes while walking. She felt a pang in her chest while looking at the blonde. She don't want to see someone crying so she started to walk towards her when a small kid suddenly tripped in front of her and started to cry because the kid's hurt after she fall.

The ten years old trainee help the girl in front of her and check her knee to see if she got wound or scratches and thankfully, the younger didn't. She help her to stand up then look at the end of the hallway again to walk towards the blonde when she saw another kid with cat like eyes comforting the blonde. She just sigh in relief but there's something inside her that's telling her 'that should be me' but she decided to shrug it off and look at the kid in front of her.

"Hi there, I'm Irene and you are?" She asked softly not wanting to scare the kid.

"Yerim, but my code is Yeri, Irene unnie and I'm six" the kid said that made Irene to smile.

"Do you have a room already?" Irene asked and Yeri shake her head.

"Come on, I'll ask YG if you can just share a room with me and my friends" Irene said because she know that the younger is scared and shy. She won't survive here if she's like that so it's better to keep her close and safe.

'I hope that blonde would be safe here as well'. She thought because she know how it feels to be here for the first time. You should know how to fight and how to be strong for you to survive here and she don't want to see kids being weak and scared but she made up her mind... If she'll happen to see that blonde again, she's going to keep her too just to make sure she's safe and is on the right hand.

But the universe must be against her this time because she didn't saw that blonde again and instead, she met another kid whom she knew she needed to take care of and the name's Sooyoung with the code of Joy.

Irene introduced Yeri and Joy to her friends who's one year younger than her, Seungwan with the code of Wendy and Seulgi; she don't have a code because the headquarters said that it's enough for her since that name can be international too. They have codes for their mission purposes in the future. They clicked well and they make sure to take care of the two young kids with them.

Days had passed but something's bugging Irene or rather than someone. Some particular blonde is invading her mind and she don't know why as well.

One day, she's so happy because she saw the blonde on the hallway but her smile faded when she saw that the kid looks so sad and hurt. She have agents around her while they're walking and her eyes is swollen like she cried for how many hours and then again... She felt a pang in her chest just by seeing the blonde like that.

"She's beaten again" Irene snap her head to Seulgi who suddenly appeared beside her with Yeri.

"W-What do you mean?" Irene asked then look at the blonde kid again.

"Everyday, those agents will go to her room and will escort her to YG's office and when she walks out, she's either limping or hissing in pain while walking. She's obviously beaten up" Seulgi said that made Irene to look at her.

"We should report this to YG" Irene said.

"Don't even think about it. It's dangerous unnie, aren't you thinking that YG's the one who's behind it? That blonde kid is the talk of the town, she's really popular because a lot of trainees is seeing her like that and there's rumors that YG is the one who's beating her up because it's done inside his office and no one dared to talk about that because they're scared on what's going to happen to them" Seulgi said while opening a pack of gummy bears for Yeri.
