Chapter 8: Pool Party pt. 1

"Lisa from Blackpink" YG said as soon as he saw Lisa standing in the middle of his office with Chaeyoung beside her. Lisa is really nervous and afraid since Chaeyoung told her about this but she still need to do it. Chaeyoung being with her helps her to gather strength to walk until here.

"I heard a lot about you, you're even the one who saved our agency from the hackers outside. You don't know how your name is spreading" he said while smiling but Chaeyoung won't take it, she's still ready and waiting if ever YG will try to lay a finger on Lisa.

"That's what I'm talking about Lisa, you really made me proud, you did a good job" YG said and was about to hug Lisa when Chaeyoung stopped him by putting her hand on his right shoulder with a glare.

"I just want to hug my daughter" YG said but Chaeyoung didn't even budge.

Lisa on the other hand don't know what to feel or to think but deep inside her... She's happy that her father said he's proud of her, he's even smiling at her unlike before.

"I heard about what happened earlier" YG said as he turn around. "And I won't let it pass knowing that someone lay a finger on my daughter"

"Says the one who did nothing but to beat his daughter up" Chaeyoung said through gritted teeth that made YG to chuckle and look at her.

"It's been a long time Rosé, and it's a mistake" he said that made Chaeyoung to scoff but Lisa grab her hand to tell her to just stop and listen.

"Bring him here!" YG shouted to his agents that's surrounding in the office that made Lisa to flinch as the fear succumbed her whole body but Chaeyoung was quick to hold her hand and rub her thumb at the back of Lisa's palm.

Soon, GD and Taeyang entered the room with a screaming Baekhyun who have a bandage in his right hand. Lisa immediately shiver in fear when she saw him again and Chaeyoung pull her against her just to remind her that she's here.

"Anyone who will hurt my daughter will suffer" YG said as he get the katana from his collections. Taeyang kick the back of Baekhyun's knee that made him to kneel in front of YG as they hold his arms behind.

"No, please I won't do it again. I don't know that she's your daughter, please please please" Baekhyun beg while trying his best to escape from his sunbaes' grip.

"What are you doing?! Are you really going to hurt your agent?!" Chaeyoung shouted while still holding Lisa's head against her shoulder to keep her from seeing whatever is about to happen. Lisa is in verge of crying right now as the memories of her father beating her up in this same room came back inside her head. She's shivering in fear and even how tight Chaeyoung's embrace is, it still didn't stop her from trembling.

"He hurt my daughter, I won't let it pass" YG said and signals GD to hold Baekhyun's hand out for him to cut and the latter keeps on fighting and shouting. YG raised his both hands that's holding the katana to cut Baekhyun's arm and swing it down but stop midway when Lisa shouted 'stop' that echoed through the whole room.

"Please stop. Forget about it, I just want to leave" Lisa said with her eyes glistening in tears while looking at her father pleadingly.

"You did a great job Lis, don't cry" Chaeyoung said while rubbing Lisa's back soothingly that's wrap around the Thai. They're now inside the plane to go back to their mansion.

"I should be happy that he's not mad at me anymore, he's even proud but I can't find the will to accept him yet Chaeyoung and I was so scared earlier, I thought he's going to beat me again" Lisa said through sobs as she tighten her hug to Chaeyoung.

"Sshh. I know, I understand. I'm just always here okay? I won't let anyone to hurt you" Chaeyoung said as she hold Lisa closer who's now starting to calm down a bit by her embrace.
