Chapter 12: Paris

"Do you want to sleep and rest or eat first?" Chaeyoung asked while unpacking. Jennie and Jisoo who's also unpacking, look at her then to their luggages.

"I promised Wendy and Mina to join the lunch we're having." Lisa said while busy unpacking too.

"You're friends with them now?" Jisoo asked this time and sit at her bed to look at Lisa.

"I-I think so?" Lisa said shyly.

"Oh, come on Lis. No need to be shy, they're treating you as a friend as I can see." Jisoo said then gave Lisa a thumbs up before grabbing her clothes and go to the bathroom.

It's a huge room if you'll ask and there's actually four rooms but Jisoo asked if they can just do it like this like the old times, she misses bonding with them--just them. The four of them. Together, and even if Chaeyoung is against it because of Jennie, she still agreed for the sake of Jisoo. They asked some staffs to move their beds in front of the big floor-to-ceiling window that can see the buildings outside as well as the Eiffel tower not too far from their hotel and above them is a transparent glass that you can clearly see stars if you're into them.

"Jennie!" Nayeon, Jihyo and Sana suddenly barge inside them room and started pulling Jennie with them. "Let's take a picture outside! Come on!" Sana said excitedly.

"Everyone should be in the restaurant downstairs before twelve to have lunch." Jihyo said to Chaeyoung who nod her head and then the four girls left the room.

"Hey." Lisa called Chaeyoung's attention. "Do you really need to be harsh and rude to Jennie?" She asked as she sits down in her bed.

"Lis, are we going to talk about this again?" Chaeyoung said as she continue to unpack.

"I'm pretty fine, you know? I moved on. It happened and no one can change that anymore so why not start a new life? Jisoo unnie and Jennie sure misses our bonds together." Lisa said, trying to convince her best friend to forgive Jennie.

Chaeyoung sigh then look at Lisa softly. "It's not that easy Lisa. I'm there when you suffered. When you cried until you fall asleep at night. When you got admitted for almost two months because of not eating after Jennie broke up with you. When you closed yourself and set bounderies then shut people out of your life. I'm there when you changed... A lot." She said as she gets teary again just by remembering those times when Lisa didn't talk to anyone even to her. "I'm just afraid that you'll shut yourself again, especially to me. It hurts a lot Lisa and I promised to take care of you and not to let you hurt again." And her voice cracked as the tears started falling from her eyes.

Lisa felt guilt because she made Rosé feel and think like that. She walk towards her and hug Chaeyoung.

"I'm sorry Chaeng, I'm really sorry. It won't happen again, I won't do it again, I'm so sorry." Lisa said as she draw comforting circles in Chaeyoung's back. The latter just sob in Lisa's stomach and hug her closer.

"Maybe later unnie." Yeri said as she pat Irene's back. The older is froze on her spot while looking at Lisa and Chaeyoung.

They decided to knock in the BP's room to talk to Lisa but when they reached the door, it's wide open that made them to stop and saw Lisa approaching Rosé before hugging her.

"Come on. They're waiting." Yeri said and they both walk towards the elevator. Irene is drown in her own thoughts and still seeing the image of Lisa hugging Chaeyoung.

What if they're together?

"Where's the others? I'm hungryyy!" Momo whine. They're at the long table now in the restaurant just inside the hotel and just waiting for the others to come.
