Chapter 32: Guilty

"Lisa please..." Chaeyoung kneel in front of the bars while gripping it tightly. She have her tears glistening in her eyes as she tried talking to Lisa who's inside the white cell sitting at the ground while burying her face in her palms. "Talk to us. Tell us what happened." Chaeyoung beg as Jennie and Jisoo tried making her stand up.

"Lisa, I can be your lawyer again if you want. I'll follow whatever you'll tell me and-"

"For the third time, I don't need a lawyer!" Lisa shouted that made them flinch.

Wendy and Mina arrived looking so worried.

"Where is she?" Mina asked and Jisoo give way to let them see Lisa.

"Lis, what happened?" Mina asked softly.

"She don't want to talk to us. I told her I can be her lawyer again and collect evidences but she won't cooperate." Jisoo said while running her hand through Chaeyoung's back who keeps on crying.

"Lisa, they scheduled the hearing. It's two days from now, you need to talk to us." Jennie said while also consoling Chaeyoung.

Lisa close her eyes as she tried blocking her friends' voice on her own.

Jisoo look around first to see if there's guards around but thankfully, Lisa's cell is different from the others and the guards is still on the entrance.

"You didn't kill Yugyeom. Even his groupmates isn't believing it despite having evidences and witnesses. They're there mourning and crying over his body but they know it's not you. Even us Lisa, you won't make us believe that it's you because we trust you so much and we know you. Evidences and statements from those evil agents won't change our perspective towards you." Jisoo said seriously.

"She's right Lisa, please don't let them win now, we're nearing freedom. Did you forget about our plan?" Chaeyoung asked between sobs.

"There's no plan anymore. I changed my mind." Lisa coldly said.

"For fvck's sake! Everyone of us here knows that they're blackmailing you!" Jisoo is getting irritated because of this whole situation and how is Lisa acting right now.

"Please just leave." Lisa whispered but they still heard it.

"Lisa..."

"Let's just go. She'll realize it soon." Jisoo said as she help Chaeyoung to stand up.

They give Lisa one last sad look before turning around and started to walk.

"Lisa." Wendy called her that made them to stop. "Irene unnie is awake. Just so you know, she asked for you the moment she open her eyes."

Hospital: 2PM~

The door swang open and Chaeyoung wonder her eyes around to look for a certain woman. When she saw her sitting at the hospital bed and laughing with Seulgi, Yeri and Joy, she immediately walk towards her.

"Unnie."

"Chaeyoung." They look at her confused as her eyes is still glistening with tears.

Jisoo, Jennie, Wendy and Mina run inside to look for Chaeyoung since they're worried that she'll make a scene.

"I know I'm not in the right time because you just woke up but please, we need your help so bad." Chaeyoung said desperately.

"What's happening?" Seulgi asked as she stand up.

"Lisa needs you now unnie." As soon as Chaeyoung said it, Irene dropped her smile and look at the other girls at the door.
